We subscribe to Dog Food Advisor to automatically receive an email notice if a dog food has a recall...which is a great service that they provide to help keep our pups safe.
They also provide reviews for many dog food companies to help you make decisions about which is the best kibble to feed your pup.

We are very happy to see that they have reviewed pawTree, which is the food we feed all of our dogs from weaning pups up through the senior years.

Here at Mountain Home Doodles, we mix up the pawTree protein options to give our dogs a variety (always making sure there is a grain option) and we also grind the pawTree freeze dried and mix it in with the kibble for a treat. Add healthy veggies, Greek yogurt, etc. and your dog will have a nice healthy variety!

Future Mountain Home Doodles mama Miss NALA has just passed her Canine Good Citizen testing!! We are so proud of the hard work she and her humans put into achieving this goal!!

Nala’s dad is our boy, Dutton and her grandpa is our retired boy, Ozzy! This sweet girl is just as amazing as they are and we are very excited to see her puppies in 2026 ❤️🐾❤️

Fun fact…Ellie’s mama does her own grooming and Ellie has become “quite a champ” on spa days!! We think she looks fabulous!! Well done 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Mountain Home Greta had her puppy count x-ray yesterday and it was GREAT news!!

Our veterinarian counts 6-7 puppies, which is more than we were expecting!!

Greta is due on the 19th and we are very excited to meet these littles!!

We will have space for 1-2 families on this litter since we have more puppies than expected :) You can check out more information about on our website.

These two dashing doods will be honeymooning soon!!

Aspen should start her cycle any day now and then we will start planning their honeymoon vacation...soon to be followed by the 4-P's (pitter patter of puppy paws)!!
