Thank you to Dan Flynn for back to back successful days with Miss Ruby. My son Gabe even came out of retirement to handle and I couldnt be prouder of both him and Tempest.

Tempest was too busy looking at her ribbons instead of the camera, getting three people and three dogs to all pose at the same time is harder than it looks!

We had fun today at the Lima Kennel Club show in Columbus Ohio.

Legacy’s Red Ruby was awarded Best of Breed for a 4 point major over specials from the open class by esteemed judge Dr Eric Liebes. Thank you to Dan Flynn for bringing the best out of our girl while Autumn Dugan took a much needed weekend off.

The fun continued at the GSDCA National when Travis made his show ring debut with our sweet baby puppy “Gracie”!

Thank you to everyone that encouraged him to take the lead and have fun with her in the ring. He will be available for future BPUP classes, lol!

Not to be outdone by his older half brother GV Redemption, “Dutch” and his best friend Autumn Dugan had a great week at the GSDCA National.

Legacy’s Stoke My Fire “Dutch” was awarded Reserve Winners and Best Puppy by judge Butch Stiefferman in the Pre-Show and won the 9-12 class under judge Jack Kilgore in the GSDCA National. He then went on to be awarded best opposite puppy by judge Ileana Nogueres to finish up his week of competition.

Dutch also achieved his Farm Dog and Herding Instinct Certificates while in Reno. He loved his herding instinct evaluation and we will continue to foster his herding instinct along with his conformation classes going into 2024!

Thank you to each of these judges and evaluators that found Dutch amongst all of the handsome males that were exhibited in Reno. We are excited for the future of this young male both inside the ring and in herding!

Dreams really do come true!

We are proud to announce that Legacy’s Redemption of Breauhausen followed in his older brother’s footsteps and was awarded the 2024 Grand Victor and Best of Breed at the GSDCA National in Reno Nevada.

As a breeder and co-owner I could not be more proud of this accomplishment by “Remi”. To have bred two GV’s from the same dam and sire is truly a dream come true for all of us here at Legacy.

We would like to humbly send thanks to honored judge Ileana Nogueras for finding him in a beautiful class of males and to our handler Alex Mues for presenting him to perfection.

We would like to thank all of the handlers that have worked with Remi: George Berstler, Lauren Gerloff, Lenny Brown, and Autumn Dugan each of you are a part of giving him guidance and making him love to compete in the ring. Also, thank you to all of the judges that have supported him throughout his career.

I would also like to give profound appreciation for GCHS Lacomtess Lucifer Morningstar’s breeders Richard Lortie and Diane Gobiel and to CH Karizma’s Princess Elsa’s breeder Iza Kabuska Ackermann. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for breeding these beautiful dogs that produced two GV’s.

We are so thankful to each of you that have send kind words and messages regarding our boy. It truly means the world to us to know that each of you love him as much as we do.

Her temperment certification was awarded to her by Laura Gilbert at Timber Ridge Pet Resort in Upperco Md. Thank you to Linda Stewart for hosting the evaluations at her beautiful facility.

Was awarded Best of Winner’s for a Major on Sunday at the Cap Cod Kennel Club show under Judge Bonnie Money from the 9-12 class.

This young dog has had limited showing and we are so happy with his achievements this year and are looking forward to his future.
