Established in 2000, Cavalier Rescue of Florida is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, organized to benefit Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in need.

Welcome to Liam! 🐾🐶 This sweet boy is 14-months-old and just adorable! Liam is a gentle, loving, freckled fellow who just wants to be with you! He loves, loves, loves attention, is a bit mischievous and is very playful -- he is a puppy after all. 🌟✨

We are still awaiting his medical vetting, so he is not available for adoption just yet. But, we were excited to introduce you to him and his adorable Blenheim spot! ❤

Beautiful Daytona had his neuter and dental surgery completed by Dr. Ben Williams at Bayside Hospital for Animals at Fort Walton Beach. Ten teeth were extracted –Ouch! Daytona did well during surgery and was sent home with antibiotics and pain meds to recuperate with his foster family. We are sure his medical team is looking forward to his follow-up visit! 😍Happy healing, sweet boy! Xo ❤️

Welcome to Bradley! 🐶🐾 This beautiful 16-month-old boy was examined by Dr. Sheryl Chewcaskie at Trinity Pet Hospital; he weighs a perfect 22.2 pounds and his ears and heart are healthy. Yay! 🌟✨

Bradley has some early Grade 2 periodontal disease and will have a dental cleaning when his neuter surgery is done. His bloodwork and titers for distemper and parvo are pending and he will need a rabies vaccination. Ophthalmology will check his eyes since his left blue eye is not characteristic of the breed. He is soooo cute! We love him, so will you! ❤️

We never know what is around the corner for Cavalier Rescue of Florida...Meet Gabriel.

💔 Sadly, in one of the worst cases of neglect, CRF has seen in our 25 years, this sweet, yet distressed senior arrived in sorrowful condition to Rescue as an owner surrender. Barely walking, this boy “stands” contorted with muscle atrophy worsened by painfully curling and overgrown nails and blistered paw pads. His skin is tragic-- extensive hair loss, flaking, hot spots, including his tail–no feathery tail! He has oozing ear infections, rotten teeth, and a large mass on his right eyelid. We are shocked by his condition, and equally anxious about the ailments that we can’t see….😭

His story and images are distressful. We can’t imagine how he has suffered for so long and despite our collective despair, we know that his life just got so much better being with us. We are thankful and honored to be able to help him. CRF will do everything we can to restore him to health and happiness. Gabriel desperately needs our help and we need yours!

This adorable senior pup has just arrived in our care clearly suffering and neglected.💔 His owners were ill and unable to provide for him and sadly, his needs have been disregarded for quite some time. We don't have any more details, please be patient with our team as we get him treated urgently by our veterinary partners and settled in rescue. Our sweet Monty is getting back on his feet and settling into a life of healing and love. He is feeling better, enough to start perfecting his head tilt and checking himself out in the mirror. Monty has follow-up ophthalmology and post-op appointments next week to further assess his progress and we hope to share more good news! 🌟✨

✨🌟 On her initial exam, Abby's heart murmur was assessed as Grade 3-4/4. When evaluated by board certified veterinary cardiologist Dena Fausek, Abby has mild to moderate left heart dilation secondary to her heart valve disease. Shown to slow down progression of heart valve disease and reduce the risk of developing heart failure, Vetmedin has been started for Abby. She was cleared for anesthesia for her dental and will need a cardio follow-up with echocardiogram in six months. Good girl, sweet Abby!
