Sassi wants to wish every a Happy Autumn season and she has some surprising news...she is back to work at Piney Valley Nursing Center! She interviewed for the job last Friday and was very well received. She is looking forward to jumpstarting her career again.

My little Sassi isn't feeling well. I woke up to her vomiting twice. She isn't as active and playful. Any suggestions for an upset bichi-poo tummy? Maybe I gave her too many pieces of hot dog for breakfast?

Sassi Surgery Update: Sassi had her stiches removed on Friday. Dr. Ben said she healed very good. Her test results came back negative for cancer :) Dr. Ben said she had a hematoma. Sassi is now able to resume grooming (which she needs badly - she STINKS). Will post a more flattering photo after her spa day at Hillside Pet Boutique/Hotel.

Sassi had the drainage tube removed today. She did really well! She has 2 open holes in her neck that will heal. She gets her sutues removed in 10 days. Then things should be back to normal. She's been resting much better without the "noodle" in her neck.

Sassi had a nice Thanksgiving dinner. The tryptophan in the turkey has kicked in...she is out cold. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sassi had her tumors removed from her neck this morning. She looks lie she's been sliced ear to ear and looks even worse with the drainage tube inserted. She'll have the tube in for 4 days. Her pain is being managed and she is welping because she can't lay in Mommy's bed (she is in a bassinette) but it's so her brother and sister can't accidentally hurt her. Breaks my heart!

Sassi went to work today at FNRC before her doctor's appointment. She wanted to show off her new dress she bought at Wal-Mart last weekend. Her surgery is scheduled for Monday at 7 a.m. She should recover and be back to work by mid-December.
