*CANCELLATION POLICY*
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours' notice: 100% of the lesson fee will be charged.
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the lesson: 50% of the lesson fee will be charged.

A huge congrats to Faye and Barney for their amazing score on their dressage test today! With only 3 minutes to warm up you should be proud of your performance 🙌🏻

Just last year Faye bought Barney after retiring from racing and at only 6 years old he’s taking everything in his stride - it’s a pleasure to work with you both and I look forward to seeing how far you both go! x

I haven’t ridden my horse in over 4 weeks. He hasn’t been in this arena before, and he hasn’t been ridden on this yard yet. This was the last diagonal of a 12 minute ride.

The best thing we can do for our horses is encourage bravery and softness by staying relaxed and allowing them to investigate things they’re worried about.

As soon as the rider tenses, the horse becomes tense underneath them. Yes there were a few moments lacking in suppleness, and yes we may have had a couple of looks at extra curious parts of the arena (including the phone on the fence 😂) but we had a lovely ride without any spooks and some lovely soft moments.

I’m now willing to take bookings for the new year! I will post an availability schedule within the next couple of days 😁

Bookings can now be made up to 4 weeks in advance of the lesson 🙌🏻 I will send a reminder message before your lesson to make sure everything is okay to go ahead, but don’t be afraid to send me a message to let me know if you can’t make it or need to reschedule the lesson - I try to be as flexible as possible for my clients ❤️

Polework can be a fantastic way to engage both horse and rider, especially when arenas get too slippy/frozen to ask for much else!

One of my personal favourites is the ‘Stickman’ exercise due to its versatility - you can be as creative as you want and get a multitude of lines!

Don’t hesitate to book a lesson with me if you’re interested in finding out just how versatile this exercise can be, even if the lesson is kept to a walk due to hard/wet ground!

The horse can only be as confident as the rider over fences - if you’re looking at improving your confidence or technique over fences I would be more than happy to help! 😁
I’m still offering lessons at a discounted rate for the first few months while I get started on my freelance journey 🙌🏻

From our first dressage test to the most recent ❤️ Learning with this horse has given me a huge insight into the way I teach - one day it will come, enjoy the journey and the results will surprise you one day.
