Super proud of Elaine and her pony today! We love seeing people and ponies dipping toes into new disciplines (and helping them along the way of course!) ❤️ From Polo pony to Dressage diva… not an easy transition but one we will keep chipping away at in a language Bish understands until we have a mare who understands that she doesn’t *always* need to go so fast! 🐎💨

A lovely day today with lots of variation!

Teaching Lynn to encourage Rossi to move more forward and over his back instead of falling behind the leg and below the vertical… look at how lovely he was moving today! 🦄

A pamper day for Elvis (who is very particular about his dreadlocks!) including taming that mane in plaits to keep him cooler, as well as getting that tail and those feathers looking beautifully puffy and soft ❤️ Maybe one day he’ll stand at the hose long enough for a full bath… watch this space 👀😂

And though we didn’t get any videos, we finally got Barney the OTTB to understand that you can extend and collect the pace without changing gear - those flying changes are on the horizon! 🎉

❗️Important Update: Price Adjustment❗️

📈 As many of you know, the cost of living has been on the rise. I've held off adjusting my prices for as long as possible, but to continue providing the best service and cover increasing costs, a change is now necessary 📈

✨ On a positive note, this adjustment also reflects my ongoing commitment to bringing you the very best. As some of you already know, I recently achieved my Complete BHS Stage 2 as I strive to bring more expertise and value in our sessions! ✨

Here’s how the price changes will work:

🎊 For new clients: The updated prices will apply to all new bookings effective immediately 🎊

🐴 For my existing clients (those who've had lessons or services in the last 6 weeks): You'll have a grace period, with the new prices taking effect from July 1st, 2025. I appreciate our partnership and I'm excited to continue working with you and your horses! 🐴

☀️ British Summer Time ☀️

🌱 Every horse owners scariest time of the year - when the horses are eating the sweetest grass quicker than it’s coming through the ground! 🌱

🐎 It can be so hard to keep your horse looking trim at this time of year, but diet isn’t everything - your horse needs work! 🐎

🦄 If your horse is struggling to get their summer body ready, I offer a range of services from lessons both in and out of the saddle for owners, to schooling and doing the groundwork for you (perfect for those with busy schedules!) 🦄

⭐️ What a week!! ⭐️

🐎 Lovely lunge for Mr Elvis to help build up his fitness and get his brain back into work mode so he can continue his ridden career… 🐎

🐴 Yard work for the home herd to cover while the boss is away - poo picking, daily checks, hay net making, and trying not to stand and marvel at the lovely track system 🐴

🦄 Bruno was a superstar for his first time being long reined on the road! He’s been taken on walks in hand and long reined in his home arena, but nothing phased this lovely youngster when he had to take the lead - super proud of him! 🦄

🏅 A lovely lesson helping a new client get back into the saddle and feel confident again after a winter break was just the icing on the cake! It’s always great to see a client enjoying their horse again 🏅

🌻 And last but not least, dragging my own hi-vis out of storage and taking my lad for a tootle around his new area for a change of scenery 🌻

🎉 I’m really looking forward to what this summer will bring about, especially now I have more time to dedicate to clients! I’m offering a range of services, from riding lessons to ground work, also offering schooling and support while out competing. 🎉 Exciting news! 🎉

This teaching exam is something I have put off for far too long (probably at least 5 years) for far too many reasons… 😅

✨ But thanks to my own fantastic instructor, I now hold my BHS Stage 2 Complete qualification! ✨

🎉 Stage 3 here we come! 🎉

🦄 Thursday was a day for Youngsters! 🦄

❤️ There’s nothing better than helping a young horse develop their career gently on the ground. ❤️

🐴 Elvis is currently having an extra lunge to get his fitness up to enjoy summer!🐴

🐎 Baby Bruno is currently learning the ropes with lunging, long reining, basic yielding and lining up next to whatever blocks I can find to make it easier when he’s ready to be started! He’s still only young yet so lots of desensitising for now. 🐎

✨ If you have a horse that needs a bit of extra help on the ground or ridden, young or old, don’t hesitate to reach out! ✨
