As one chapter closes another opens....

C Walks will be no longer be taking on Clients.
All existing clients have been passed Sarah’s details from Special Freinds Dog Walking.
She has just set up and is fully First aid trained.

Thank you for all the support, I’ve walked some fantastic routes locally and met some wonderful people and dogs!

If anybody is looking for a special dog please pm me.
My beautiful Pip (lurcher cross collie) was from a litter of 14.
One of her siblings a boy was being offered for free on a selling page.
The original breeder managed to get him back.
He is neutered, micro chipped but needs some TLC as he has hair loss on legs from fleas...

If your interested PM, I will pass the breeder info on.
He just needs a really good home. 😊

Access via Bradiford Road, Pilton.
I would love to know what this feature is called and what it once was?
I’ve been determined to get up there for a couple of years now, it’s recently been restored.
The footpath at present is full of thorns and holly so not ideal for 🐾 paws ATM.
I will definitely head up again in the summer!

I have been walking a year!!
I have walked through all the seasons, have experienced some wonderful wildlife and discovered just how Beautiful Braunton is...

Most of all though I have met some amazing Dogs! And their Humans aren’t too bad either!!

I do what I do for enjoyment, I am not a large scale Dog Walker.
I have my regular little gang and enjoy every second!

With the Current Heat I will only be walking in the Mornings...

It's just too hot for the dogs to be out and about mid day.

If in doubt about taking your dog out, check the floor surface with the back of your hand...

If it's too hot for you , it's too hot for your dogs paws!

C Walks

The beaches are covered with these Jelly fish at the moment.

They are known as the common MOON jelly fish.

These are harmless, some may cause a minor irritation if that...

Interesting Fact: jelly fish have No brain or heart and are 95 percent water.

NBA.... Apparently urinating on yourself does not relieve a Jelly sting!

Walking by Baggy point, Croyde today. Parking at the NT carpark.
We avoided the coastal tracks and stuck inland.

The oceanfest set up is looking great!

We've had a few messages asking if dogs will be allowed on the beach this weekend. The answer is: yes, dogs will be permitted on Saunton Beach this weekend, however, there will be moving vehicles and loud reenactments. For the safety of dogs, drivers, and spectators, we ask that you keep dogs on leads around Devon D-Day displays and vehicles at ALL times, even if the vehicle is stationary. If you have a nervous or reactive dog, you may want to consider avoiding the area this weekend.

I've had a house guest today.
This lovely old boy has been very well behaved.
He has enjoyed a stroll at Saunton and was very pleased to receive belly rubs from the children after school.

Last time I walked these they were flooded!

Heddon Valley hosts some stunning walks.
With High and Low ground tracks that allow you to view beautiful Coves and nature!

If your in need of a refreshment stop the Hunters inn is very accommodating , with a good menu for kids and adults.

The Rocks today at Saunton were covered in Honeycomb Worm Reef.
Absolutely stunning constructions made by the reef worm, that come out to feed at high tide.

Entrance to Sandy lane car park is looking great also after the resurfacing last week...

The beauty of my little job is not just the amazing dogs, brilliant ever changing views and routes to explore in Devon.
But... The fact I can take my children to work with me over holidays.
They earn a little pocket money as well as learning to respect and care for other people's dogs.
We are having a great week enjoying Devon with our 4 legged friends.
Rain or shine it's dog walking time!
