Stella had her annual Friday! All is well - I have never seen a dog so happy to go to the vet. I guess it is because there were so many people to say 'hello!'

on a sad note, we had to say goodbye to Bud. He had another episode -worse than the one that sent him to the hospital. He wasn't going to recover.

We are very sad but know he had a good life while with us even with his terrible mysensia gravis and megaesophagus. We will miss him dearly but he is at peace.

Hi everyone! Last week started on a good note and ended with a sad note.

On the good note - Miss Annie had the rest of her ear graft material removed so who hoo - no more cone!!

Happy Birthday Annie! Annie celebrated her 9 years young with a dental cleaning (only her small front teeth pulled) and had an ear hematoma addressed!

Bud is doing really well! He is free of his pneumonia and starting to eat more. Hoping to get his weight back up to where it was but adding 8 lbs is going to be a challenge!

The worse thing about Bud's episode is he lost his vision. We don't know if it is permanent or not. Next step is trip to eye doctor once he is done with the meds and getting stronger.

He was out for a walk today! Doing well so far

He's home with us for about a week. Has to take a lot of meds, get a nebulizer treatment 3 times a day and has to eat in his Bailey chair.

He has a love/hate relationship with this chair but he eats and then hangs out in it for about 15 minutes to make sure all his food goes down to his stomach.

So, it has been so hectic still I didn't get to share the second issue we were/are handling.

Sweet Bud has been doing so well with his megaesophagus and mysenia gravis, it was heartbreaking when he started getting ill. We had to take him to the specialists where we discovered he had aspirate pneumonia. He stayed 5 days until he was good to come home. He was a wreck -

Crazy couple of weeks - Miss Annie - our puppadog of month - was not feeling well. Ultrasound revealed she had some fluid in her uterus. Fortunately, her skin was in good condition so we could finally spay her. And we also had some of her bumps and such removed. She is looking good now!!

Check out the before and after!! One thing you can't see is the skin she had dangling below her chin. All gone now!!
