This is Streak of Chrome. He is for sale. Out of Janie McGee and by Sleepy Streak. He is 2 years old and a gelding. He is very nice minded. He’s super flashy and loves people. He was weaned with Butch Mowdy and that’s always a great start to his learning in life. Look up Butch at Equine Kindergarten and see what his technique is, You will be impressed. He is the perfect age to start bonding with. He’s a clean slate. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer like a champ. I’ll get more pictures loaded soon and some videos. Just wanted to start his exposure. $4###

This is Ebony's Ruby. She is 3 years old (born 2015). She is so kind and soft. She is trusting. She has come a long way from not being handled when she was young to being ridden and she loved walking over the tarp. Every time we went around the round pen she would walk through the middle and walk across the tarp. Silly girl! I love this girl! She went to Buck Brannamans c**t starting clinic and before that she spent a month with Butch Mowdy in Emmett. He helped her and I get more confident with each other.

I Love Blazers

I have always loved horses. When I was growing up my parents had a mare and bred her to get my first very own horse. He was a palomino and I named him Poseidon( ya that’s when the movie was popular). He was a good boy and I rode him all over. Then I graduated from high school and marriage and kids and horses were put on hold.

Now I am back in the saddle again. I was introduced to the Blazer horse breed around the late 1980’s and have never looked back.

I didn’t start out wanting to train horses, I just wanted to ride with my friends. What I found out is that every time you touch your horse you are either making them better or worse. I needed better horsemanship to make me and my horses better. So I started a quest to find a national trainer that I wanted to follow. I settled on Clinton Anderson. I liked what he did and the results were good.

I came across the “Buck” movie after it was out on dvd. Then I read Buck Brannamans book about his life and loved his philosophy. I loved how he put the horse first. I loved how he teaches you to be soft. So I started going to some of his clinics and was really seeing some great things happen. Of course it was me changing and the horses were responding in a beautiful way. Now I am on a new journey to learn to start my own colts. It is coming along very nicely. I have a long way to go and thank goodness that I have others to fall back on for answers when I just can’t figure something out. YouTube is also a great source.
