Sorry I didn't get as many pictures as I usually do. But here's a few of our parade this morning. It's really good I used RC. Apparently SOMEONE didn't attach the flag holder very well on my cart. So just as we were walking over to start the parade, it all fell off. So I picked up the holder and a bow and put them on my cart. Then had to carry the flag in 1 hand and drive with only 1 hand for the whole parade. I was using the flag my dad used to put out every 4th. 💔🇺🇸 But our good friends Lorrie McComb and Rocky were there driving too. Rocky Mccomb took his 4 up for the first time in the parade and they did great!! Thunder was a little impatient but I don't blame him. Parades suck. At least we all got through it, shiny side up. 😉

We were in the parade again this year. It was pretty exciting for our little group. The color guard didn't make it to the parade and they always start the parade with a USA flag... 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 Well, they saw that we had them on our carts and had 1 rider carrying one. So instead of being at the end of the parade, they moved us to the front!! There were definitely less entries this year and looked like less spectators. It was warm out but the breeze kept it pretty nice. Not sure why attendance was down. But it's a great group of people that put it on and we were happy to join. It's all about having fun and making others happy. 🥰🇺🇲🦄 John and I drove our minis, we had a couple walking ponies and some riders. There was 1 other group with a big wagon and horses. Lots of fun and good times.

Animal Genetics has received the samples for Maui and Cowboy!! I'll be checking their site constantly now to see their results. Lol! Even though I already know Cowboy, it's just to get it in black and white and have it proven for anyone who wants proof. I know Maui's basic color and pattern. But we gotta know if she is frame or not. It's very important if anyone would want to breed her later on. It would be nice if she was negative. Just makes life easier and more open for her future. Frame is actually one of my top favorite patterns. When they get color, they can have some of the wildest patterns and are so gorgeous. I know solids can be great horses just the same. But I do love the flashy. 🥰🥰🦄 I have a few with frame and they're awesome horses. Just have to make sure they only get bred to a negative. Just remember that even a solid can be frame positive. That's why it's so important to test. Save a life!! Send in the hair and it's such a minimal fee to know for sure. Hopefully they'll get the sample for Willow's c**t in the next day or so. Then I'll be sending off the paperwork for getting the babies registered and DNA done. Maui is available.

Just love this tiny little guy so much already!! He's doing a lot better and really learning how to use those legs now. Him and momma will probably go out in the bigger pen very soon and join Maggie and Maui. Then the babies can grow up together and have a buddy. His hair was mailed out yesterday so we'll know soon exactly what he carries. But he's a solid perlino from looking at him and knowing what his parents are. It'll be fun to see if he's hz for anything else besides cream. Maui's hair was mailed out last Friday. Can't wait to see her results! It'll be fun to see them together. He's so much smaller than her. 💙💜💙💜🦄🦄🦄🦄

Well, we kinda thought Maggie's baby was going to be our only one this year..... But I started seeing Willow and her belly was getting better and changing shape. It wasn't the normal hay belly, so I had an inkling that she might have gotten pregnant. She was in with her boyfriend for a few months but was a bit cranky so we pulled her and did a live cover. But she was so cranky with that, we only got 1 cover. But hey! That's all it takes sometimes. Lol! We're really excited to have another baby so Maui will have a buddy to grow up with and it can make weaning time a lot easier. She's pretty much twice his size. 😂 But I'm sure they'll still do good together once he gets to go outside in the pen with her. He'll be in the barn for a short time to get his land legs better. He's already really friendly and follows us around. He's not as spunky as Maui was. He prefers to sleep more. But that's most guys. 😉😂 It kinda figures though ..... There's a 75% chance of tobiano with this cross and I get a solid. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ But that's ok, he's pretty cute! Undecided right now if he stays or goes. He should stay under 34", so he could be a good future stud. We'll see how he grows up a bit and get him tested still. But Maui is available if anyone is interested in her. I just mailed her hair in to get the full panel, but really just need to know if she carries frame or not.

Cali is a very sweet mare I sold to a friend nearby and she was bred to Cowboy, my new blue roan stallion. This is his very first baby on the ground! It's a filly!! Cali is hz tobiano so baby definitely got tobiano. But there's a really good chance she could be roan. She does have lighter areas, which is kinda backwards for the roans I've been seeing born, but she will be getting tested soon to know for sure. She has an 8" cannon and is 23" tall. She can be AMHA/AMHR. NFS. Her momma is very excited about her and is keeping her. Welcome baby Cheyenne to the world! 💙💙💙🦄🦄 Thank you so much for letting me be there when she was born. Super excited to see her grow up and all the great things you guys will do together. She's just perfect and gorgeous!

The weather has stayed nicer, so I decided to go ahead and let the girls be outside and get out of the barn. They have a larger pen and neighbors now. She was having so much fun running around and playing. This is such a nice filly!! She's going to make someone really happy as she grows up. 💙🦄💙🦄💙 Message me if interested.

Everything went great! Maggie is a fantastic momma. She's had babies before but this is her first with us. She was even nice enough to wait for the couple days of rain and cold we had, to pass, so we could have a beautiful night for her her baby to be born. It wasn't nearly as cold and no wind. What a great girl! 💜💙💜💙 And she foaled out earlier and didn't wait until 2 or 3 in the morning like some mares where you have to be up all night waiting. Lol! We had finished dinner and was just thinking about getting ready for bed. Well, John was.... Seeing how Maggie was walking circles, I was going to be up watching her. But then she laid down and I knew it was starting. Her delivery was quick and easy and the baby got up and wanted to nurse right away. Easiest baby ever! We always do the e***a, just make things easier on them.... 💩💩💩😂 She had plenty ready. Lol! We toweled her off and I still put a blanket on since they're damp no matter how much you rub them down. I found the little blanket I used on Legend so I brought it out and put it on her for 💩's and giggles as a size comparison. It was a little too big on him and it's definitely too small for her. But I did put one on that actually fit for her for the night. But that shows how different these little guys can still be at birth. He was much smaller and this little one will be on the taller side. Her parents are taller so it's expected. But she's absolutely perfect!! She might be our only one for the year, which is really weird for us (but we had a terrible 2023 so that didn't help..) but we're super excited to welcome her to our world and watch ger grow. I took her blanket off this morning and got a few dry pics and videos. She's following me already and comes right by my legs to get scratched and snuggled. She's going to be soooo friendly, like all Matrix babies. 💜💙💜💙🦄🦄🦄🦄 And Maggie is a sweetheart so that can help too. Looks like she'll have a left blue eye. This is one stunning baby! She will be available after weaning. 😉 Usually around 5 months old. She'll get registered, DNA done and be color and pattern tested. She would make a fantastic driving horse or one for the little bitty grandkids to be toted around on. She could do just about anything. She'll be very versatile and is already very friendly. Play with her and show her now then breed her later. She's got some great bloodlines! Beautiful little face and she'll have a little bit of black in the bottom of her white tail, just like momma. 🥰🥰

Brushed a ton of hair off Maggie. She's still shedding. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ But she's getting rounder and rounder. Pictures taken 4-9-24. She has the sweetest little face. She is so sweet too and loves attention. If I go try to brush a different mare, she'll come and bump me in the butt with her head. She can't get enough attention. Lol! This is going to be a super nice baby. Definitely will have a splash gene and a cream gene. It will be A/R and available after weaning.... Once it's born. Lol! Gonna be a really pretty baby. 💙💙💙💙🦄
