Very exciting day today! Work has started to secure our land adjacent to the house. I can't wait to have it sorted so that Heidi, Ava and Luca have a big outdoor area. Luca is missing his flirt pole 😐 🐕‍🦺

I'm retired but!! Asked to help with this 6 month old Spanish Mastin puppy who's been getting a bit rough with his sibling. George was found abandoned in a field at just a few weeks old

It's still very hot here during the day so I stocked up on enrichment things before we left N.I

Today we registered at the local veterinary clinic which is in our village. Priority was to get Heidi, Ava and Luca vaccinated against Leishmania which is a horrible disease spread by sandfly. All three were great and the lovely vet, Shelem was very generous with the treats to help make it a positive experience. Blood tests,vaccines and microchips updated to the Spanish database too. We also got some CBD oil to try for Heidi's stiffness

Today we visited a local pet superstore and can report that natural chews, good quality treats and food can be bought in Spain 🇪🇸 The shelves were full of recognisable brands and most packaging is in many languages including English. After a short evening walk my three are now enjoying a tasty trachea 😋

We have arrived! What a journey! Heidi, Ava and Luca have all been absolutely brilliant- we underestimate how adaptable our dogs are! Now to wait for the 'boss' to arrive and we can start to get settled 😁

Day 2 of our travels! The Channel Tunnel was an experience 👀. Dog friendly B&B just outside Calais and on the road again early this morning 🌄
Service stations in France 🇫🇷 are great for dogs! Lots of grass areas for walks and taps to fill up water 💧
Overnight somewhere near Bordeaux tonight and final drive tomorrow to our new house 🏠
