Bonnie and Clyde are 3 wks old! This duo is so fun and gets lots of snuggles! They are already going to their potty area a lot of the time, started tasting “puppy mush” today and are very healthy! Mama is doing a great job and is healthy too!

Eeyore (aka Bailey) went to San Marcos to live with the Rosson family… and as you can see he gained a human sister that had the biggest smile when she met him! His mom says the vet was impressed by him, he LOVES playing with sticks as long as they are bigger than him, doesn’t have any accidents in the house and sleeps peacefully all night in his crate. I loved meeting the Rosson’s and am excited to continue to hear how they and Eeyore are doing! ☘️

Just received this pic from Sammy’s (aka Paddy) mom. This is where Sammy stayed for 7 hrs to support her mom while she received her IV infusion. This is something we discussed they would do together when I was watching personalities. Knowing that Sammy did so well on her first time going is AMAZING and warms my heart so much! She is so loved and is lovin’ her mom well too! Love updates like this! ❤️ ☘️

Berserker (aka “Lucky”) is settling in nicely with his new family! His mom says he has tons of dog toys but wants to play with everything else, lol, that he and his army of tiny humans are becoming fast friends and he enjoys lap time with her too! He’s one blessed puppy! ❤️ ☘️

Winnie went through obedience training in Alaska and her mom said she did SO good! She is very smart! She also takes “down” very seriously! Lol 😂

When you tell Winnie “Down” she becomes one with the road. 😂

Maggie (aka “Clover”) has settled in nicely with the Burke family in Colorado! This was a special one for me. This sweet girl, Lochlan, had a tough experience with a dog one time that caused some anxiousness in her. When speaking with her parents it was clear I needed to pay close attention to the temperament of the puppy I suggested for them. Maggie was sweet, gentle and reacted perfectly during our exercises involving human behaviors, such as crying, etc. And the Burkes have already shared a perfect example of what we all hoped for when Maggie nipped Lochlan’s little brother during play, like she would a litter mate, but immediately shifted gears to concern and care when she saw it hurt him. So far, Maggie has been perfect for the Burke kiddos and I am so thankful they trusted us! This picture showing the joy on Lochlan’s face is the best part of what I do! This breed is so good for kids! ❤️🤗 ☘️

Well it’s official… ☘️ are all in their new homes! Dublin and Murphy met their families yesterday! This litter was our largest so far! It was such a fun, tiring, learning and fulfilling experience! We are always growing and we loved that we were blessed with this amazing surprise! Shivas puppies are ALL in wonderful homes and I can’t wait to watch them grow up! And wanted to shout out my two Littles, Roslyn and Hunter, who worked very hard and did an incredible job with their puppy duties; from clean up lol, to exercises and training, through tears and exhausting days, to the goodbyes, they are a part of the whole process! So added a couple of pics of them too! ❤️

Moxie (aka Molly) flew with the best flight nanny to meet her fur-ever family in California! The Baylors said she has settled in well and they LOVE her so much! Moxie and her big brother Bosco are going to be great friends! And we, at Hometown, are blessed to have our oldest daughter as our flight nanny because she LOVES puppies and to fly! Perfect combo! Their trip was seamless! ❤️.dlyn ☘️

These loves are getting ready to leave us soon and we are excited for their families but going to miss them! Y’all!! Jolene is so stinkin’ pretty and I love getting updates about her and her little but older sister! 😂❤️They are the sweetest pair! Look at those Valentine outfits! 😍😍😍 Newfypoos are a great addition to families with other pets and children! They adjust easily and are the most gentle and friendly dogs I have ever been around.

Introducing Hollywood! He is a future papa dog for us but most importantly he is Hunter’s new best friend! Hunter plans to train him to hunt and track as well! We were told by his breeder that owners of other breeds at hunting competitions will see poodles show up and almost want to pack up because they know how good they are at the job they were originally bred to do! So we are very excited to see what these boys can do! Hunter is doing almost all of the house training etc by himself right now and is doing a great job! He also says “having a kid is hard work!” …. Yep! Sure is son! 😂❤️

We are 4 weeks old! That means we are starting to develop our own personalities, we are playing with each other more and more, and eating puppy mush which makes big messes! We our halfway to meeting our new families and so excited! ❤️ ☘️

Ellie Oats lives her best life in sunny California and will do just about anything for a treat! ❤️🤩 Recently I asked families of our pups what was done well and how we can grow and do better. Jennie (Ellie’s mom) replied that our payment process was “easy and convenient, that she came well exposed to almost everything and she has a beautiful, thick coat that is easier to groom than their other doodle”. Jennie also made a suggestion that maybe I add some leash exposure. I am so glad she mentioned it because I want to set our families and pups up for success the best we can and now I can add that in going forward! So thankful for our Hometown families for trusting us and helping us learn too! ❤️ ‼️

Y’all! These pictures of Jolene are so sweet! Susan tells me Jolene LOVES her dachshund sister so much and they are always cuddling! She also said Jolene is smart, sweet and that she loves her very much. Hearing that our pups are not only doing good but blessing their owners in big ways, means so much to me. It’s why I love what I do! ❤️

Excited to say Shiva is expecting very soon!! THIS is an awesome surprise for all of us at Hometown as we didn’t know if our girl could have babies after a couple of tries but here we are!! She is healthy, happy and ready to pop! This pairing is something I have wanted to see for a long time! Shiva and Beau puppies on the way! …. Dad snuggled with her after her temperature check today because she’s not a big fan lol …. Can we blame her!?! 😉

We got an update on Al!
He is large and in charge! 🤩And is doing amazing! Here is some of what his wonderful owner Melissa had to say, “We have been very pleased with Al's temperament. Sturdy loving puppy. An example was last night when our area has many fireworks displays. We took him out on the porch, he gave one bark and that was it. Not troubled at all. Very sweet and loving boy.”
She also mentioned something that I am always honest about, Al is a bit of a jumper right now at his whopping 100lbs and that can be a struggle. She has a trainer to help him now and he is going to be doing better in no time. Sometimes they just do not understand how big they are and they are just pups. Melissa also shared that she loves his coat and I can see why, it is GORGEOUS! I am so thankful he is SO loved!
