Mini longhair dachshunds -based on DTK guidelines-healthy, sound body-friendly & stable temperament Here a some info about our German dachshunds.

Here we will keep you updated what is going on at the "Weberschlösschen" lots of photos of Weberschlösschen puppies, and new litter arrivals. All our dogs have German bloodlines in their pedigree, and are our foundation bloodlines are imported from the land of the Dachshund/Teckel-Germany. Now our own raised puppies “vom Weberschlösschen” are old enough to have puppies. Our dogs are bred with Germ

an bloodlines only- we do not cross with AKC registered dachshunds. For our breeding program we follow the DTK/FCI guidelines and carefully plan each litter, and taking great care selecting the parents. All this helps us to produce healthy and sound and beautiful puppies with an outstanding disposition. This is our goal and commitment to this wonderful breed.
***Please note, due to the pandemic we were forced to make some changes pertaining to our puppies' registration. As we all know the Covid pandemic caused lots of restrictions and lockdowns all over the world, and because of all this, we were not able to approve our youngsters to the DTK breeding program. We were faced with the decision to either stop our breeding program, or continue the same way, - just without the DTK Registration. The survey we have on our FB page showed that our puppy families cared most about a healthy and beautiful puppy with sound and stable body & temperament and not the German DTK registration papers. So we came to the decision to continue breeding our puppies exactly how we have been, with the same care and integrity meaning the DTK German Dachshund club guidelines but will not continue getting the DTK papers from Germany- the puppies still will be tattooed and given a 3 generation pedigree from us. We will continue to import new DTK bloodlines from Germany and as I mention uphold the DTK standard in our breeding program. "And whatsoever you do, do it heartily unto the LORD and not unto men Colossians 3:23"
Even if it is raising little dachshunds :) I am thankful the Lord has blessed with this wonderful hobby!

Greetings Alexandra! I just wanted to let you know that Karo (k6 litter) is doing well. He loves visiting our grandsons and running for sticks in the backyard. He also loves snuggling with us at home. He is maturing and not so much a puppy now. He is ; however, very vocal! He doesn’t let anyone approach the house without announcing them. He is still not a big eater and is very petite (8.5 lbs) but doesn’t realize how small he is. Merry Christmas to you and your family from ours. Regards, Karen and Eric Jensen.

A wonderful Merry Christmas update from very handsome Firtzl (F7 Yanni & Leo) aka Mr Beamer his mom reports, he is now 8 months old. He has become the ALPHA in this household . I think his bro is ok with that.

A wonderful update from handsome Fritzl (F7-Litter) aka Beamer 🥳🥰🤩Four months have already past since gotcha day for Fritzl Beamer Vom Weberschlosschen. We just celebrated his 6 month birthday. He has been such a joy to our family and such good company to his 9yr old bro, Bratwurst. He is a burst of energy, mastered the ramps and doggy doors 100%. We have a perfect routine down day and night. Just wanted to give an update on this perfect, handsome Teckle boy!

And just like this Handsome Jaxon is home with his new mom in FL, thanks to the awesome flight nanny service @travelerscare

Besides handling the puppies, playing with them, nail clipping etc at 5 weeks they are on their way to be "Paper trained" and we always have a big clean pen, ones in awhile there are accidents. During the day I wake them up from their naps and guide them over to the small paper area, and in no time all the pups get it! FOREVER families please take your puppy outside, if you have access to the outdoors, do not continue this at home unless you do not have access to the outdoors and will continue to use wee wee pads. If you put papers indoors, the puppy gets confused and house training gets prolonged or the puppy will never get housetrained!

And here another sound experience for our puppies the sound of a vacuum cleaner, but they could care less 😂😆😂 Radio is always on and playing music, and always lots of different stimulation and interaction during the day, so they are best prepared for their forever home 😍 Gotcha Day is coming 🥳

And here another noise for the puppies- the vacuum cleaner 😁 and they could care less! 😂!

If you wonder what goes on during the day with our puppies 😁 Since our puppies are in our house, not somewhere in a distant dog house or kennel, they see us humans all the time, and get all kinds of interactions, and of course we make lots of different noises for them to get them ready for their new home-, loud noises, to the point now they look at me " oh here comes the crazy loud lady again😆😂😂, we encourage our new families to build on this foundation and expose their puppies to all kinds of noise and situations, this makes the best puppy and dog!

Our J7 & K7 Puppies went to see Dr. Harris New Holland Veterinary Hospital and all are A-OK and got a clean bill of health 🥳 Next up GOTCHA-DAY 🎉🎈🎊 And Yes ALL of them have very excited & awesome forever families waiting for them! ***in this video are also the L7 puppies***
