Often in our careers we form bonds with people and pups alike. We all have that family that follows us from shop to shop. They know our personal life and you get close to them. Bella was one of my original request dogs and my longest standing request. Mom always let me explore my creative urges and many times let me try haircuts. My grooming career would not be the same if it wasn’t for this family and their trust. Bella was with me in petsmart where my grooming career started back in 2009. Bella was with me when I was in petco where I really discovered my love for grooming. Bella was with me at Sissys pet grooming salon where I was put through the ringer and really questioned if I wanted to groom at all, but she was there. Bella spent her last years with me at Perfect love pet grooming where I learned compassion and loving myself and pets alike in a different manner and not just looking at them as dollar signs. Every day when I felt grooming no longer was for me bella popped up on my schedule and reminded me of why I do what I do. Grooming Is definitely at a hard position in my life and she just encouraged me to continue because of dogs and pet moms like Diana who became an extremely good friend. I might of lost you Bella but because of you I’m dedicating my life to another year of grooming might be enough to stay in the game or fall in love with grooming again. This year is for you bella may you rest in peace 💜💜💜

Please excuse my absence today, it is a hard day for my family and I as we say goodbye to our beloved Draco. he’s been a great protector, friend and listener. He fought a good battle with valley fever for a long time and he gave my family as much time as he could bare. Almost 12 years for an Akita his size with valley fever he gave me more than I could have imagined. Hug your 4 legged kiddos for me tonight.

After a stressful week due to something beyond my control I am feeling more like myself. I had so many customers who stuck out for me and grounded me when I was feeling like grooming was something I shouldn’t be doing.
