2 Tips:
1) take your dog on more frequent or longer walks *depending on physical tolerance and outdoor temperatures and play games with your cat.
2) When feeding treats, remember to back out some of their food to account for the calories of the treats.

When it's too hot outside to walk or exercise your pets, consider for your pets needs!

We just took the temperature of the sidewalk. It was 147 degrees at 11:30 am in Phoenix, Arizona. We are currently at 100 degrees air temp and it's still in the 70s at night. This will get much, much hotter as the summer begins.
My point: Do not walk your pets on the sidewalk or pavement until it has cooled down.
