Wrapped up this commission to revamp this sign! The second photo is where it started, I’d say we did this one justice!

I was happy to have been given the opportunity to make this shadow box for the Lincoln county sheriffs department. I love the way it turned out and hope that it helps sgt. stauffer’s loved ones cope with the loss.

Out in the Idaho wilderness, we recently found this awesome wooden pipe! That’s right the entire run of pipe above ground was made of wood and held together with tons of these metal bands! They just don’t do it like this anymore!

30 years ago these two crazy kids got married and just over a year later I was born. I am eternally grateful for all the life lessons, experiences, and ethics that you’ve taught me. Happy anniversary, here’s to many more 🍻🥂🎉

This one is long overdue, but I had more trouble doing this than I thought I would. The flag case for my grandpa is done and ready to be shipped out.

Missing last weekend in the woods with my fiancé and my dog. Take me back. .
Happy Friday! This is the other surprise gift sign that you’ve seen some of the components of already. I definitely learned all kinds of lessons on this one!

Challenging myself with this one! My Las Vegas sign doesn’t have the straightest lines or best lettering, but I am still hoping it will catch the eye on this next sign.
Assembly!!! Sorry for the poor framing here. No editing software was used in the making of this video. Haters will say it’s fake.
Had to keep this one under wraps for a little while but here is a work in progress picture of my most recent sign. Made for my cousin to celebrate his work for the NTTR before their move to Germany! Stay tuned for more on this beauty this week.
Some alphabet soup this evening. This font is not only testing my skills at the saw but also my patience.
I spent some evenings this weekend with building this gate. It’s nothing too fancy but it looks awesome! It was great to see some friends, drink some wine, and make stuff!
Happy Sunday! I went in to some of my recently acquired barn wood to make this room sign! It is looking for a home still. The pink and green ombré definitely fits with this awesome spring weather!

Not everyday in the shop is your day. This is what’s left of a sign that once said gather. Times like these you just gotta keep moving forward!
It can be easy in this quarantine to lose sight of everything we have to be thankful for, so please take some time today to be thankful even for just a moment. Also, call your parents, they worry.
After far too long, I finished the signs for . Repurposed wine boxes made the backboards for these hand cut letters and wine bottles. They look even better in person, go check them out Boise!

Next step is detail! Gotta cut out the spearhead and wing details and the lettering. Then it’s time for sanding and paint. Going to kill it this weekend!
Leap day will now always be a day that we can celebrate! I love you so much Kari, and I can’t wait to enter this next chapter of life with you.

This sign turned out awesome! It looks great hanging on the wall in our dining area. I can’t wait to do more of these large script word signs! Who needs one?!
I am traveling back home today and sitting in the airport looking at all the great posts, I’ve been a little sad that I’m not headed to ! But I am excited to get home and spend some much needed time making sawdust.
NEW NAME SIGN!!! I know that both Jaxsten and his dad are going to be thrilled to have this in his room! This one was a challenge, lots of inside straight line cuts. Let me know what you think!
@ Boise, Idaho
I couldn’t be happier with this one. Pretty simple project that was really brought to life by a simple paint job! This thing was interesting to cut at roughly 18”x18”. Should look great in it’s new office home! NEXT!!!!!!!!!!
@ Boise, Idaho
Two new nursery room signs are in the works! I love making these especially since these two are for close friends. I’m really happy with the way this font turned out, and I can’t wait for you to all see the finished product! Time for some primer!

First post of the decade! All the cuts are done on this long overdue fish wall art. Time to start slinging some paint!
I’m a lumberjack and I’m ok! Well, not exactly, but I did get a chance to put this old Witterlings camp axe to work splitting some firewood this weekend while camping in Stanley.
@ Stanley, Idaho
Thanks for all of your input! Final coats of finish are on and this feesh looks great! Perfect for a spot on the wall in your cabin, office, or man cave! Can’t wait to make some more of these. If you think you need one let me know! .
@ Boise, Idaho
Feesh is on the wall! I need help friends! What do you all think of the distressed look here? I’m debating with myself wether to keep this current look or slap a new coat of paint on it and go with a fresh look. Let me know!
@ Boise, Idaho
Our new cat Toby came over and checked out the sign while I was trying to get some pictures. I don’t think he was very impressed. He can be very critical of my work sometimes. Maybe on the next one we can make the cats orange.

Testing the limits of the scroll saw on this 24” feesh! What is everyone working on this Saturday! Let’s talk about it in the comments!
Just a couple of kittens! Finished up some new wall art for the house! Roughly 14”x14” in a walnut frame. I’m so happy with how this turned out, if you need one for yourself, just let me know and I can get one started for you!
@ Boise, Idaho
Working on this walnut frame, I think it’s time to invest in some band clamps for my frames. Using these other clamps gets the job done, but it’s pretty finicky. Might have to take a cruise through and get hooked up!
Well, I’ve taken quite the break from woodworking and social media, but I’m back! Going to be making some moves, trying to expand my skills, my reach, and my business. I’m excited to focus again on something I love doing. Making big pieces of wood into smaller pieces of wood 😬
