Pet Care +

Pet Care + We are a pet sitter and dog walking business that serves Alhambra, El Sereno, Los Angeles, Monterey Park, Montebello and other surrounding cities.

We are insured and bonded. Pet Care + is a pet sitting and dog walking business that serves Montebello and surrounding cities. Home visit - $10
A quick check in for up to 15 minutes. This includes a quick snuggle, belly rubs, water refill, play time, and a quick potty break for dogs. Dog Walking:
$20 for a 30 minute walk. $25 if you want a walk for more than 30 minutes. Pet Sitting:
For boarding i

n my home I charge $20 for one dog and $35 total for a maximum of 3. I can only have small dogs boarding with me (be sure to ask if your dog is a good fit. For example: A 20 pound French Bull Dog is heavy, but still would be a good fit.) Training:
$10 for 30 minutes, once a week. I am a student dog trainer working to become certified through the Certification Council for Certified Dog Trainers. My current focus in dog training is counseling pet owners on things they can do to set their dog up to win. The commands I have had success on so far is sit, stay, down, and come. I can also teach your dog to shake. Please don't hesitate to still contact me if you need more in depth training than that. I will, at no cost to you, connect you to local trainers who have more experience than I do. For anyone who is wondering where Pet Care + is located, it is located in my home. Most of my services involve me coming to your location (with the exception of pet sitting of small dogs). The ultimate goal of Pet Care + is to have a physical location to do boarding and community classes. Cities in our coverage area:
Alhambra; Bell; Bell Gardens; Commerce; Downey; El Monte; Los Angeles; Maywood; Montebello; Monterey Park; Pico Rivera; Rosemead; San Gabriel; Santa Fe Springs; South El Monte; Whittier. We serve people outside of these cities but our prices will need to be increased. Dog walking may not be an option if you are too far away.

It's time to say goodbye to one of my favorite girls. Madison, you have brought me joy in the few years I have been able to care for you. You didn't let your age keep you back from having fun. You loved chasing lights, getting butt scritches, and eating. You would eat anything. You are the only dog I've met that would happily scarf down a leaf of lettuce and I'm sure you would have eaten a whole head of lettuce if we let you. I'm so glad your mom chose me to take care of you. Thank you for reminding me that even the little things in life can bring joy.

Today is Check the Chip Day

If your pet isn't already microchipped, make an appointment with your vet or look for a local microchip clinic to get your pet chipped. And be sure to register the chip immediately.

Many pets escape their homes because they are afraid of loud sounds from fireworks. The best way to keep your pets safe is to make sure they stay indoors and in an enclosed room if possible.

If you do allow your pet outside, be sure that your gates or fence are secure or that your pet stays on a leash.

It's National Pet ID Week.

It's said that one in three pets becomes lost at some point. To be prepared in the event that your pet becomes lost, here are some important things to have on your pet to help them get home sooner.

1. Collar and ID tags. You an find these at any local pet store. Most of the bigger stores will have machines that you can get your contact information put on your pet's tag. Besides your pets name you can put your phone number and even your address (your address will help your pet get home sooner in many cases). For dogs who don't have much of a neck to keep a collar on, a harness could be an option. Be sure to keep all information up to date and get new tags when they begin to wear down.
2. Microchip. Many pets have microchips these days. For those who do, it's important to keep the records up to date on the sites they are registered on. Also, at your pets yearly vet visit ask your vet to make sure the chip is still readable. For those who have not had their pet microchipped I recommend doing it soon. Doing a google search about microchip in your area you can find an affordable one as some vets may charge more than it needs to cost.
3. Municipal tags. This is an option if you want another layer of protection in the case your pet becomes lost. Contact your city to find out how to pay for a pet tag.
