About Me!
Vanessa is the owner and founder of K9 Pawsibility Dog training. Ever since she was very young, she had a passion for animals and has made it her life's goal to work in a field that engages that passion. Throughout her adult life, she has volunteered with multiple animal related organizations such as Vaughan animal shelter, University of Guelphs College Royal and Autism Dog Services. For Autism Dog Services in particular she has and continues to foster, raise and trained puppies towards becoming services dogs. Vanessa has completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and minor in Nutritional & Nutraceutical Sciences more specifically in animal nutrition. While in school, she has had the opportunity to to work with numerous professors specializing in animal behaviour and nutrition. Nutrition and quality of dog food are an integral part of developing good health and behaviour. Overall, Vanessa goal in dog training is to provide quality, one-on-one training, utilizing a variety of methods, in order to help lead my clients and their dog in establishing a healthy relationship.
At K9 Pawsibility we believe that a bond with your dog is extremely important, and we strive to train in a manner that will help you and your dog establish that bond. We focus not only on the dogs behaviour, but the communication between dog and owner, in order to help your dog achieve excellence.
