ware, and hand-selected textiles with performance and longevity at the heart of every decision. Most importantly, a portion of every sale is donated to help pets in need. Through our products, we hope to not only provide the best for our pets, but raise awareness and support for those pets who have yet found homes.

Today is Small Business Saturday. There are so many things I’d love to say, to all of you who have supported us along the way. I typed something up the other day, and it ended up being over 4,000 words – no one has time to read all that 😆 And then I saw this quote:

We are so excited to be a part of the URBNmarket Bethesda Holiday pop-up this year at in ! Come see us next Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 16th and 17th) from 11AM-4PM.

In addition to our year-round accessories, we will also be bringing our entire line, as well as a few extra holiday prints that will only be available at the pop-up!

Best part is our accessories are the perfect stocking stuffers for your pup, and will give back to our shelter dogs and war veterans this holiday season. We hope to see you there!

Hi friends - Caryn + Zoey here!
With the onset of Hurricane Harvey, hundreds of pets have been displaced as a result of the storm. As many of you know, we started volunteering for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue as volunteers and fosters, and this amazing organization will be providing help by taking in 20-30 displaced dogs and bringing them to safety here in DC - but to do this, they need your help!

We created a Strut Your Mutt fundraising page a couple days ago, to help raise funds for these efforts. Your money will go directly to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, and ultimately help save a life. Please, please consider making a donation. Every little bit helps, and at this time, it's needed more than ever. We set a hefty goal of raising $500 - and thanks to everyone, we hit this goal!!! But the truth is, so much more funding is needed, so that they can not only help save these 20-30 displaced dogs, but many more after them. So we've upped our goal, and are shooting for $1,000 - can you help us get there?! These dogs need our help ❤️. Everyone that makes a donation, will also receive a chance to win for their pup a free bandana of choice! Once the fundraiser ends, we will randomly pick some winners, and they will be notified to claim their prize!

Hi Everyone! We are getting ready to foster this sweet girl pup, Dandy, starting tomorrow when she arrives to the U.S. from Thailand! She is a 1.5 year old Shepherd mix, weighing 25 lbs. She was rescued from a dog meat farm in northern Thailand - these poor dogs are stolen off of the streets, stuffed into overcrowded wire cages where they can barely breathe, and travel for days without any food or water. At their final destination, they are unloaded from the cages, tortured, and boiled alive. It is just horrific. But luckily, Dandy was saved in time. Despite everything that she's been through, she is friendly and gets along well with other dogs - and really excited about her second chance at life. She will need to be adopted into a family that has at least one other pup, who can help show her the ropes. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations and preventatives, and has been spayed. If you or someone you know might be interested in adopting Dandy, please contact [email protected]! She will be at two Lucky Dog adoption events this coming weekend in Arlington, Virginia, and Rockville, Maryland - if you would love to meet Dandy please stop by and visit us!

Rescue Tail of the Week:

Meet this handsome boy, Tucker! He will be turning 3 this August! His favorite activities are swimming, running off leash, playing fetch, and chasing squirrels. He is about 60 pounds of muscle and loves to snuggle up on his family's lap and watch the TV for dog commercials. He is from Tennessee . He was found alone roaming the streets. He was transported to Connecticut where his family found him via his foster mom. He has 3 adult siblings that he sees as much as possible, and one furry sibling ! :-)

Meet Ashy! She was found about 10 years ago through Petfinder! She was originally bred to be a designer Morkie breed, but when the breeder took her to the vet and found out that she had a little bit of Luxating Patella in her hind leg, the breeder was prepared to put her down! Thankfully a rescue found out about this, took her in, and posted her on Petfinder! From that point, her forever family found her on the site, and adopted her ❤️. Turns out that her hind leg (the reason the breeder was ready to put her down) didn't even develop any issues until she turned 10 years old. To think that she almost missed out on a life because of it. With the help of some good people, this sweet and beautiful girl got the love and forever family that she deserves ❤️❤️❤️

ZoZo's Paw - Rescue Tail of the Week!

Meet our first Rescue Tail of the Week, Astrid! She will be turning 3 years old next month, and was rescued from S.N.A.P. of St. Claire, Michigan. She was adopted on June 23, 2015, and moved in with her forever family! Since, she has lived and grown up with two fellow pups - Winnie (a Corgi) and Stella (a French bulldog). To this day, Astrid thinks she's a small dog, just like them 😊 On the school front, she graduated from obedience class last year, and is starting agility! .

Our Story

ZoZo's Paw was inspired by my 7-year old rescue pup, Zoey (or ZoZo, as her family and friends sometimes call her). Back in 2014 when our shop was born, we set out with the goal of helping overcome the negative stereotypes of shelter pets - which at that time was still a work in progress - through quality pet accessories that were made with the rescue dog at heart. In 2014, we launched our line of handmade dog bow ties, all of which feature our very own snap attachment design. When we started out on this venture, Zoey and I both knew that we wanted to bring something new to the dog market. After almost a year of endless designs and prototypes, that's when our snap attachment design was born. We can't believe how far it has come since we listed the first bow tie, and how many of you have embraced it since day one. We cannot thank our customers enough for giving us the chance to share something new with the world. However, dog style is only a part of this shop's mission. In honor of Zoey and rescue pets everywhere, a portion of every sale will be donated to rescue organizations focused on saving dogs from high-kill shelters, as well as K9s for Warriors - an organization that rescues shelter dogs, who then "rescue" our war heroes. At the end of the day, we hope that when you receive our products, they make you smile, and make your pup(s) feel extra special...because that is exactly what they are! Thank you to all of our customers - for not only giving us a chance to dress up your special pup(s) - but also for all of your support. You are the reason we are able to accessorize dogs for a cause.
