Yes, I am best known for my modeling work. However my heart has always belonged in the theatre. Each season, I anxiously await the announcement of the productions we will be mounting, fully aware that the coveted canine roles are few and far between. There was a brief glimmer of hope last year as Annie was chosen. Sadly there were concerns about height and my ability to carry off “city dog” vibes. I was devastated. How long would it be before opportunity struck again?!

I had to say goodbye to my beloved lake today. We took a scenic route through the mountains. I offered to help drive but Mom said navigation is my real strength. George and Cuddles were thrilled to hear all about my adventures. Can’t you feel their excitement?!

Sometimes when one is experiencing big feelings, it helps to take space. I, personally, prefer a small, squishy space. This allows me to process my emotions and determine if they’re a real threat or simply events that inadvertently set off wildly uncomfortable feelings but do not actually present imminent danger. Mom likes to call it my “Under There Thunder Lair.”

Mom is out of school and we’re on the trail!!! She said something about getting out before the weather turned, a noisy storm, and better living with chemistry. All I know is Mom came home early, we went straight to the trail, and I got a surprise peanut butter treat with some small lumpy bits. Gotta love summer.
