IDC if you guys are tired of seeing this photo but I cannot stop looking at it.
No dog before him and no dog since has ever captivated me like my Voltaire. He looked straight through me into my soul. No other dog looked at me like I was magic and could do or be anything. No other dog just wanted to be so close to me at all times, no matter what I was going through, and then look over at me, sigh, keep staring as if to say "you know I'll always be here right?"
"I'll always be here when you wake up. I'll still be here trough everything, your bad moods, your good days, your tough nights. It was a look that if I ever caught it, I had to stop what I was doing and stare back, as if I recieved the message and it would instantly calm me no matter what I was doing.
But he's not here anymore. There's no look when I roll over, no look when I wipe my eyes and remove my face from between my knees, it's gone. He's gone. and I can't handle that....
