Milo came to Koru K9 Dog Training in Austin, Texas with a history of resource guarding, biting, and anxiety—common but challenging behaviors that can strain the bond between dogs and their owners. To address these issues safely and effectively, Milo joined our 6-Week Board and Train Program, designed to provide structured, personalized behavior modification.

Under the guidance of our Austin dog trainer, Trey, Milo is learning to feel comfortable with gentle handling, including touch around his feet, face, and collar. In the first clip, you’ll see Milo initially growling and showing discomfort—natural reactions for a dog with his history. With the use of a muzzle for safety and Trey’s patient, confidence-building approach, Milo is slowly learning that human touch can be positive and safe.
