Today I tried to ‘get it on’ with Floyd, a handsome yellow lab at the Bark Park. John said he was very embarrassed on a few different fronts.

John and Carrie gave me a New Years treat in my dinner bowl tonight. John said I'd find it in the bottom, like a treat in a box of "Cracker Jack" --- whatever that is? Anyhoo, after a great day at the ''Bark Park," it was a nice surprise! Happy New Year to all my fellow barkers!

Yesterday I spent the morning with Jake at the salt mine aka: Scott Barber's. As soon as I got there I was so excited that I accidentally pooped. I loved everyone there, but Scott's dog Hank didn't reciprocate. Jake was kinda embarrassed and brought me home at lunch, but I'm hoping that he'll take me back again soon! I think Scott would like me to become one of his models....

It appears that John and Jake have been holding out on me, they finally took me to the pool at the Bark Park. What a marvelous place; water, balls, sticks and friends running around and swimming everywhere. Is there a "doggie paddle" event in the olympics? I think I could bring home the gold.

Celebrated my 1st birthday tonight by having Mom & Dad serenading me with the Happy Birthday song --- they harmonize like Peaches and Cream. If that wasn't enough they bought me a McDonalds cheeseburger and gave me an elk horn as my gift. A great day --- I think I'm going to bust through the invisible fence and visit all the neighbors!
