AVAILABLE TO APPROVED HOME
Luke (Prophet x Covey pup - May 2018) is still progressing in his training. Force fetch, place, and basic obedience have all been taught. He is fast on retrieves and will deliver to hand.
He is a super sweet dog and very intelligent. He has tons of drive and learns quickly.

Bittersweet week for us! Although our daylillies will hopefully recover (Oh My!), we sure will miss these sweethearts when they leave starting Friday!!
We've added some new states with this litter: New York, Louisiana, Illinois, and Virginia. G.A.L. pups continue to make their homes all over the USA!
Sidenote: The male pups went through Volhard testing for therapy work this past weekend. All 5 males exhibited excellent temperaments and personalities consistent with what is needed for being a therapeutic working dog. This speaks volumes for this litter since normally only 1 or 2 dogs in a entire litter meet the criteria!
So grateful to our clients (past, present and future) who make our pups a part of their family!

Puppy Update:
1 week individual puppy pics are up on our website.
Yellows vary in shading. Noses are turning black.
We don't do a lot at this stage except cuddle, massage and love on these sweet sugar cubes. Mom (Molly) has been fantastic.

Luke is coming along well in his training. He is smart and is a quick learner. He has learned to heel without a lead, place on command, and sit on whistle. His manners have improved considerably. Force fetch is upcoming. We will try and post a video at some point for anyone interested in adopting him.
He looks a lot like his dad,Prophet, when he was this age.

Puppy Update:
Ultrasound has confirmed that Molly x Jager pups should arrive in about 3 weeks. We are grateful for all of the interest in this litter.
All initial deposit spots have been reserved. We will open deposits back up once pups are whelped and sex/color are known. (Those who expressed a desire to send in a deposit and did not get the opportunity initially will be contacted after pups are whelped if your preferred sex/color is available. We will reach out in order of date contacted.)
If you are interested in a pup and have not reached out to us about a deposit feel free to email/message or call us to get on our list to be contacted once pups are whelped.

"We love this dog we got from you guys so much! Having a couch potato one minute and a high drive machine the next is such a blessing to our lifestyle. He's had all his health testing done except his eyes and he has an appointment for that soon. This is him yesterday hunting the sound for the first time. 13 retrieves in rough water...he handled it like a pro!"

Luke (Prophet x Covey pup - May 2018) will be looking for a new home in a couple of months. He is a large framed, intact male. Luke would do well in single dog home. He is currently being obedience trained and needs an active family that is willing to provide him with lots of love and room to run. He is up-to-date on all his innoculations and flea/tick meds. Final vet visit yesterday. Over the next few days these pups will leave for their new homes. It's always bittersweet for us when we have to say goodbye. A little about us...

Green Acres Labradors © is a small, family-run kennel located in Salley, South Carolina that specializes in developing quality Labrador Retrievers for the purpose of becoming beloved family pets and hunting partners. Our philosophy is simple: We believe in QUALITY over QUANTITY. Temperament is priority, with a focus on intelligence, natural retrieving drive and the ability to be easily trained. We have both conformation (commonly called English labs) and field labs (commonly called American labs). As a family, we enjoy the outdoors and spending time with our dogs. Our dogs are as much at home in our beds, as in the dove field or duck pond.

Over the last 25 years, we have invested our time, money and HEARTS into our dogs. We not only health test all our dogs to insure responsible breedings, we also spend thousands (in dollars and hours!) to train and title our dogs. We research pedigrees and have traveled extensively in the US to acquire our dogs from older, established lines that are proven in temperament and intelligence – lines we have known and personally owned for over 20+ years.

As a family, we enjoy participating in AKC and UKC Hunt Tests. When not participating, we travel to watch and encourage our friends and past clients who run their dogs and share our passion. We also enjoy gun dog training. And because we believe everyone should have the opportunity to own a remarkable dog, we occasionally have a litter of puppies for sale.
