House of Klee Kai has done it again! After a journey across the pond, we return (pending UKC approval) with a new CHAMPION!
Dally now joins the esteemed ranks of Nuka (the first European-born UKC Champion Klee Kai) and Eirik (the first male European-born UKC Champion Klee Kai), both of whom reside at House of Klee Kai.
During our trip, Dally also earned her novice containers scent work title, making her the first European Klee Kai with a UKC scent work title (placing 1st in trial 1 exteriors, 1st in trial 2 vehicles and 3rd in containers), and received THREE Total Dog awards and earned her DASH title. To our astonishment, she was also placed as RESERVE BEST IN SHOW in Centreville. We never imagined being in the Best in Show ring, let alone having little Dally pointed at out of all those stunning dogs!
She is now just one qualifying run away from her precision coursing title, weight pull title, and her novice vehicle and novice exterior titles.
A big congratulations to Everdeen and the Thurisia - Alaskan Klee Kai team on the arrival of three special little puppers, sired by Dandy from HoKK! These beautiful pups were born in sunny Southern California 🇺🇸!

Delta, previously known as "Porthos" from the Three Musketeers litter, has been diligently training with his hu-mom, Brandy. Their hard work has paid off, as they have successfully graduated from the STAR puppy class!
We are incredibly proud of this team and eagerly anticipate seeing what they achieve next!

With all the hustle of training both the puppies and the adult dogs, preparing for the UKC Premier in June (which surprisingly took us to Belgium for pet passports), and celebrating two significant birthdays in Northumberland, we've neglected to give you guys updates on Bre and Tyrion!
While they turned 9 weeks old today, let me fill you in on the past few weeks.

Last weekend was a whirlwind with visitors from both Norway and America, so our pupdate got a bit delayed - apologies for the wait!
As of April 7th, Brienne & Tyrion hit the 5-week mark and they've been living it up! Here's a glimpse into their adventures:
🥩 They've mastered the art of sprinting to their food dishes, overcoming obstacles like champions to get there. We've witnessed epic climbs over barriers of all shapes and sizes, whether it's to reach their grub or respond to our calls. We call it the "Barrier Challenge" - it's like their own little Olympics!
🧸 Their toy collection keeps growing, with everything from squeaky toys to jingly ones, walking toys to wobbly ones. Every day is a new adventure in toyland!
🟦 Interactive play-mats have become their latest obsession, from water play mats to sound play mats and even texture play mats. It's a sensory wonderland for them!
👩👦👦 The learning never stops! We've kicked off the "Communication Trinity", featuring power-packed clicker sessions, the box game, and the Manding. They're soaking it all in like little sponges.
That's just the tip of the iceberg - stay tuned for more adorable antics and puppy shenanigans!

Guess who's celebrating their fourth week on this egg-citing journey? Brienne and Tyrion, of course!
Their days have been filled with tunes of classical melodies and a symphony of everyday sounds, from children's laughter to the rumble of a busy road. Plus, a dash of Game of Thrones drama for good measure!
In the grooming department, it's all about daily brushing sessions and keeping those tiny claws trimmed every other day.
As keen spectators of household chores, they've snagged front-row seats to the daily hoovering and steam mopping.
Their taste buds have been in for a treat with Nutriment weaning paste, mixed with raw goat's milk and bone broth—a culinary delight! And let's not forget their penchant for sneaky nibbles from mom's plate and frozen sprat heists.
Every day brings a new adventure in toy exploration, with exciting textures and sounds to discover.
When it comes to family time, they're all ears! Banshee, in particular, is a hit among the furry crew. With tails wagging, we can't wait to see what adventures the coming weeks have in store!

March 24th marked a milestone for Tyrion and Brienne as they hit the 3-week mark and dove headfirst into their critical socialization period.
These little pups have transformed into pint-sized doggies, brimming with energy and curiosity! They've initiated playful romps with each other and have even upped their interaction game with us humans, which is just melting our hearts. Witnessing them scamper over to us with their newfound enthusiasm is simply priceless! 🐾 Plus, they've embarked on an epic adventure of toy exploration (well, the ones mom approves of, of course). And guess what? They've graduated to solid foods, alongside their trusty mom's milk.
We can't wait to see what the coming weeks have in store for this dynamic duo!
Apologies for the delayed updates, but between puppy shenanigans and some human sniffles, we've been a bit preoccupied.

On March 3rd, Eirik & Envy excitedly welcomed one handsome baby boy and one beautiful baby girl!
You may notice that we have waited a little longer than usual to announce these cuties to the world, and that’s because while the little girl may look HUGE, she is actually quite small for a Klee Kai puppy. However, her little brother was born absolutely teeny at under 100g!
We are proud to say that here we are ten days later, and both pups are going from strength to strength!
Now, they need names!
We were thinking of:

On February 25th, Mayhem enjoyed her birthday surrounded by her family, which included her grandkids (Athos, Porthos & Floki) and nephews (Westley & Inigo) creating cherished memories together ❤️.

On January 27th 🏴☠️🤺Wesley & Inigo🤺🏴☠️ turned 5 weeks old!
They enjoyed...
🥩Running to their food dishes.
- Climbing over various barriers of various sizes (as you would expect from adventurers such as the Wesley & Inigo !) to get to their food and to us when we call them.
- Climbing out of the puppy pen when we open the door… (and in the case of Inigo, before we open the door 🙈.)
- Climbing out of their bed and ball pit.
(The above is also known as the “Barrier Challenge”)

Riot came to us from April at Del Mar Klee Kai in Southern California by way of our wonderful friends at Thurisia who welcomed Riot into their home while we waited on him being able to travel.
On September 18th 2022, Riot attended a NASDA trial in Big Bear with Elina and our Thurisia friends where he earned his Trailing Puppy Aptitude and his Urban Puppy Aptitude Titles.
We hope to add many more letters to his name over his lifetime but needless to say, we are already so proud of this little chap!
We look forward to this little man's future and have so many goals we hope to accomplish with him.
At the end of 2023 Riot joined our breeding program after completing his health testing.

The Musketeers turned one week old yesterday!
They began ENS and ESI on day 3 and all around they have gone from strength to strength thus far. They have thoroughly enjoyed sniffing through a number of gin botanicals such as fennel seeds, cassia, lavender and pink peppercorns. We have lemongrass lined up for this evening.
Dally truly adores her new role as a mom and dotes on her little boys, it is so precious to watch.

Trixie, Sassy, Nova, Dally and Riot braved the rain today to attend Cotswold Canine Athletics to partake in a number of fun activities but as always, the lure coursing was their absolute favourite!
They may be small but they are speedy!

Home of the only UK bred UKC Champion Alaskan Klee Kai! (That is Klee Kai PLURAL)
House of Klee Kai was formed in May 2013, and the first litter was born.
2015 marks House Of Klee Kai’s first attendance at UKC Premier. This trip though dogless taught us a great deal about how to assess structure and movement and also what we wanted to aim for in our own dogs. We began using Puppy Culture to raise our litters.
In 2016 we first showed a dog at UKC Premier, a dog who would then come back to the UK with us to become one of our foundation dogs (Costner). Costner won Best of Breed while handled by a House of Klee Kai breeder.
In June of 2017 House of Klee Kai became the first UK based breeders to take their Klee Kai to North America to show.
In June 2018 House of Klee Kai’s Nuka became the first UK bred Alaskan Klee Kai to achieve her ‘CH’ title. In the same trip, Missy achieved her ‘UFA’ and ‘USA’ titles. Both girls achieved their ‘RUNN’ titles. To date, these are the only UK bred Klee Kai to achieve these titles. Nuka won Best of Breed.
In June 2019 House of Klee Kai’s Eirik became the first UK bred Alaskan Klee Kai to achieve his ‘CA’ title, he then joined the ranks of the girls earning his ‘RUNN’ and like his little sister Missy earned his ‘UFA’ and ‘USA’ titles. There are now only 3 UK bred Klee Kai to have titles. He also won Best of Breed. This is the second consecutive year that House of Klee Kai have had this honour, 3 years ago it was however won by us with Costner who is Eirik’s father.
In October 2019 Eirik returned to America to show at UKC Gateway Nationals where he earned his Champion (CH) title making him the second UK bred Klee Kai to achieve this title and also the second House Of Klee Kai dog to do this. He also won Best of Breed twice more.
In January 2020 Eirik officially made the cut for the UKC Top Ten Alaskan Klee Kai invitational. Eirik is the first UK bred Alaskan Klee Kai to make it into the UKC Top Ten. Enzo and Myy who were born at House Of Klee Kai made it into the Drag Racing All-stars in 9th and 7th position out of ten.
These are the first Klee Kai born outside of North America to accomplish this.
