February is Responsible Pet Owners Month!

Ways to be a Responsible Pet Owner:

* Be sure you are ready to take on the responsibility of a pet.
* Get a pet that will allow you to provide appropriate food, water, shelter, health care and companionship.
* Commit to the relationship for the life of your pet(s).
* Recognize that pet ownership requires an investment of time and money.
* Make sure your pet receives preventive health care (vaccinations, parasite control, etc.), as well as for any illnesses or injuries.
* Provide appropriate exercise and mental stimulation.
* Limit your pet’s reproduction through spay/neuter.
* Make sure your pet is properly identified. (I.e tags, microchips.)
* Prepare for an emergency or disaster, including assembling an evacuation kit.
* Properly socialize and train your pet.

Owning a pet is a privilege, but the benefits of pet ownership does come with responsibility. Be sure you are ready to make this commitment.

Absolutely no words at this moment. We went to do dogs and this is what we saw. We fear little Willow BROKE her leg!! Absolutely no idea how. She was fine when we put her to bed.
