This is for the time being the last post on this page, and I will close it to comments.

I've been seriously ill all summer and early part of fall.
My house burned on the first weekend in November.
My son and I survived with minor injuries.
I lost all of my remaining dogs and pets.
And everything else...

Please do not send me any pics of your furbabies, I can't bear to look at them right now.

If I owe you a deposit for a pup, some of which are way overdue - please email me at [email protected], with the amount of your deposit and a copy of your deposit contract. I lost all electronic equipment, computers and back-ups in the fire.

I am at this time basically homeless, but I do acknowledge the debt I owe you, and I will repay it when I get back on my feet. It will take some time, as I walked out of my house barefoot in my PJs.

By the Grace of God, a tiny corner in my BR was somehow spared, and I managed to salvage enough of my jewelry making components, to hopefully earn enough to eventually put a roof back over our head and build up on that.

I appreciate everybody's kindness, positive thoughts and vibes, and prayers too, but please understand that I am not in the position to and state of mind to chitchat right now.

Update 7/24: something has definitely changed on FB for me - perhaps I missed these changes earlier this year. But what is clear to me is that I don't get notifications the way I used to.

If you want to make sure I find your questions or comments when I come online, or you need me to reply - please be sure to tag me directly - by using my name or the PoodlePleasure page name. If you are inquiring about a particular puppy - use the chat feature or PM me. I miss too many casual questions or only find them days or weeks later...

If you are looking at a specific puppy - go visit it on it's page on my website. I don't discuss prices on FB - they are clearly outlined on the actual puppy pages. Most of your general FAQs are already answered there as well. Use the Puppy Inquiry Form on the website to contact me via email for a quicker response.

With all the new scams going around in the pet industry, I wanted to give all of you visitors who don't know who I am, and who are flirting with one of my currently available pups - the reassurance that I am for real, that my puppies actually exist, and that I am not going anywhere. Check out what my dog owners say about their furkids!

You'll see a lot of remarks from folks that have older dogs, and others that have multiples from me. I think it's easy to snap a quick photo with people when they pick up their pup and are excited about a new baby in their life. But to me - what really counts is that when the dogs are true adults, or even old and crotchety [we all get that way when we get old, LOL] - they are still loved and appreciated!

If you are in the Lugoff SC area and need a quality and reliable groomer - check out Mandy! She's great with dogs, and she knows what she is doing when it comes to coat care and cutting hair. I totally feel comfortable recommending her - because I see how great Xena looks all the time. And that is not just her physical appearance and grooms - but also the interaction, behavior and looks she gives to Mandy.

I've been breeding poodles for 20 years now and have grown up and lived with dogs pretty much my entire life. I can tell with a single glance which dog trust his/her owners and is totally devoted to him/her. And that reflects upon how your dogs while in her care, are also treated... Give her a try - you won't regret it. Sabine

PS - if you are living a bit out of her area - sometimes driving an extra 10-20 or more miles, but knowing your furkid is in good hands - is well worth the effort and inconvenience. I would know - I drove 70 miles for many years to my old vet, because I knew it was well worth it, even though I had 2 others in the town I lived in. Quality over convenience!!! Well worth it!

Another little old girl has checked out and gone over the rainbow bridge... At 14 Chloe was a tiny PekePoo senior citizen - and while it kills me to get these emails and FB announcements - at the same time it also makes me happy to see how much one of my littles was part of her family and how much difference and impact she made in someone else's life!!! RIP Chloe! Big Hug Qadriyyah!!!
