What a night
It is with a great privilege that we had Snow Gun inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame
Thank you again to everyone involved and to the Reining Horse Fondation for the great evening of the Sliders Night Out

One single thing that connect us, is our love for the horses
That mare had not only a purpose of showing or producing babies, she united people and created something special among each one that met her.
Even though she has never produced an NRHA Futurity or Derby champion..yet..she was the kind of horse you could call an “underdog”. She started off as the underlooked animal and ended as the MVP of our family.
Her different look, her whole life story and the way she surpassed many people’s expectations is surreal. I believe to this day she is the only reiner who appeared in the renowned National Geographic magazine.
I remember being told by the Colorado State University that, after breeding season, the transporter would come and pick her up to bring her to Texas for her vacation time. The driver said he never saw such thing happen,,,,,
The mare exited the barn and students and employees followed her and some were crying, sad to see her leave.

She was intelligent and attentive. There was no way you could skip a meal or an apple treat being given to her,she would quit whatever she did, turn towards you and neighed until you satisfied her hunger
From all those years, what we have heard the most is the impact she had on so many persons, and we are beyond proud to see her bloodline among many grand-babies and we see so many traits that she had, blossom in the next generations.
I consider myself very fortunate to have own, ride and show her, but mo
