I grew up in "logging country", the "God's country" region in Pa. where I live to this day, and live for the mountains and wilderness.. Friends of the family being loggers and cutting firewood alot with my family from a young age, I also grew up with riding horses, and fell in love with large pulling horses at a very young age, I have cut timber on and off since my early twenty's... I truly live f

or what I do its my passion, logging with horses! On my jobs all skidding, and forwarding are done with horses, either ground skidding or with a log cart... The area I work has grown to be from parts of Va. into western Ny. We will "do it all" meaning cut, skid and sell timber for the landowner, or cut and skid as a sub contractor, or skid with another cutter.....

Got home from board / committee meetings about 1:45 n fired up the welder. Need to get this cart done n in service among many other projects for on jobs. Now better clean up tools n get ready for hay.
