Matt offers a unique training program that is proven to help both horse and rider. Matt was born and raised in Oklahoma. In 1999 he moved to Nevada where he got his start in the cutting horse industry with Tom Long. After two and a half years in Nevada he got the opportunity to apprentice for Matt Gaines. For the next five years he had the chance to work with some of the best people and horses in

the industry! In 2006 Matt was offered the Assistant trainer position for EE Ranches under Guy Woods where he resided until 2010. After over a decade of experience under three hall of fame trainers Matt then made the move to work for himself.

He’s a big, pretty, buckskin gelding. We have owned him since he was a weanling. Started the right way, we have ranched on him, gathered cows, started colts, and used as a turn back horse, roped the roping sled.
Redgie is broke, will turn around and stop. He is a nice all around horse, with all the looks.

He will be shown at the A Bar Ranch show Oct 4th and is consigned to the sale Oct 5th.

Redgie is a big, beautiful buckskin gelding that we purchased as a weanling.
He has been Matt’s go to ranch horse for the last few years, used to gather cows with, turn back on and start colts with. He is a nice all around ranch horse that is pleasant to be around. Redgie will be shown at the A Bar Ranch horse competition prior to sale day.
