Want you to know, Kokomo, that one of our all time favorite friends is joining you guys. Jax is finding his way to you and your greener pastures. He was so loved by Jenn Metz, her best buddy for 23 years.

Take care of Jax, please. He is a good guy, a handsome dude, and a sweet listener whenever you need to talk. He is bringing a lot of love from all of us here. I know he will want to see Alison too. Make sure you get the two of them connected. Hugs to each and every one of you.

Kokomo, We are behind with news about additional Sprucelands horses who have come your way. You already know they are there. We neglected to post their quiet walk from our fields to yours, because we either did not know or were unsure whether their beloved owners were ready to share. Madge and Harry are there. We do hope you have caught up with each other. Madge moved a while back from the Sprucelands barn to Ann Lowe in Rochester where she had wonderful years in lessons, trail rides and shows. Ann and Madge were so happy together. And then there was Harry who spent his years with Tarrah Phelan also in the Rochester area. Tarrah adored her Harry, riding him in shows and loving him up, soul to soul. Now both Madge and Harry are freely roaming your green pastures, back within the Sprucelands herd. Love them for us, please. Thanks, Kokomo.

So it seems that Marea and Stormy and Audi had a pact to leave us at the same time! Why is that? Were they special friends at camp? It is strange. Marea, if you remember, was that little tiny Chincoteague filly that arrived at camp one day and walked all long legged and wobbly off the trailer after a long ride. She was adorable, and grew into a well mannered young lady for Emily Krempholtz who loved her passionately for all these past years. Marea turned out to be quite a cross country traveler, all the way to Colorado. My guess is that she will fill you in if you ask. You know it's not hard to imagine you horses standing around in your pasture, catching up on all the news since camp, with Alison and Liz.

Kokomo...we add another wonderful horse from Sprucelands to our list. Alicia's love, Stormy, came to you this week. He was with us a long time, at camp and then with Alicia in several other barns. He gave Alicia confidence enough to ride other horses, cantering on her own, even ba****ck. So Stormy made a huge difference in this earthly world of ours, and now joins you and Audi and all the rest, cantering free in the fields of forever.

Hey Kokomo! Want you to know that Audi is with you now. I hope you've met up already. If not, keep an eye out and do us campers and staff member the favor of showing him around. He will remember you and Boomer, I know, and Poco and Ellie and Fella and Thunder and all our other wonderful friends that play with you in the fields where hay is fresh and green.

Rachael is heartbroken. She and Audi were friends for years, building each other's confidence and expertise. I know she would appreciate your watching out for Audi. So would I. Meanwhile, share our love with each of the horses we love so deeply.

Just want you all to know that not only is Renata, Topher, and Liz Jones with you but so is Alison and Sue Harris and Candice. I have a feeling you have all found each other somehow, in spirit at least, and are enjoying your shared connection to Sprucelands. Do take care of each other. We all love you. I'm thinking you horses are getting good treatment with all the affection and care from your human friends. Miss you...

By now, Thunder should have found you all. I know she will be looking for Ellie, her good buddy and best friend. She had quite a life. Ask her to tell you all her stories. I actually think she could have written a book because her life journey was phenomenal. She certainly taught many, many children and adults how to ride and love horses. Give her a hug from all the Sprucelands staff and campers.

Today we send Alison to you all. She will be excited to reconnect because she loved you so much. You were her partners. You and she touched souls. She always looked out for your well being and made sure you were matched with just the right riders. Alison wanted you to benefit from the lessons; she wanted riders to learn and grow from what you could teach them. So now you are together. We love you all...

Haven't posted much on this page of late. Perhaps I need to tell you, Kokomo, and all you other horses on the other side of that rainbow, that Indigo left us and must have found you by now. He was a wonderful friend to Courtney, and she is very sad. I think she will be sad for a very long time.

Perhaps you can join up and play in the green pastures where you are. It comforts us all to know that you are together, perhaps giving your own lessons to those you meet up with. I know you'll be safe with any rider. We miss you!
