Good morning all :)

We have had this lovely ginger boy brought into us this morning by a good citizen who found him in a garden/in a grassy patch on the side of the road, obviously very unwell. Found on the corner of Tyne and Vogel street.

Our Awesome staff have treated him this morning and he is now more comfortable.

He has no microchip and he is entire (not desexed). We are thinking he is potentially a stray but we just wanted to put a post out there, just incase he has a family looking for him. If you have any information or think he may be yours please call us on 06 350 3950 :)

Fireworks may be exciting for us, but for many pets, they can be a source of extreme stress. Here are some important tips:

🛋️ Prepare a safe space: Create a quiet area where your pet feels secure. Blankets, favorite toys, and familiar scents can help.
🔊 Reduce noise sensitivity: Play white noise, soft music, or leave the TV on to muffle the fireworks.
🏠 Keep pets indoors: Secure doors, windows, and cat flaps to prevent escapes in case your pet gets scared.
💊 Ask us about calming options: For pets prone to anxiety, we can discuss Thundershirts, pheromone diffusers such as adaptil or Feliway, or prescription medications.
🐕 Exercise early: Give your dog a long walk or playtime before the fireworks begin to help tire them out.
💡 Microchip & ID: Ensure your pet's microchip and ID tags are up to date, just in case they run off in fright.

Just your friendly reminder that we are closed on Monday for Labour day so now is the time to check your pets medication and make sure that you have enough to get you through the long weekend. if you are needing a re-script please do get in contact sooner rather than later as we do require 24 hrs to make prescriptions.

Unfortunately we have had a deceased cat brought into us this morning. Desexed male. No microchip. Tabby and white, domestic short haired. Found on Main Street near/opposite Silky Otter cinema. A collar was also found with him.
