Jett, Beau, and Onyx are a few of the smallest pups I get to groom. They are all Parti Yorkies. Onyx is the smallest of the bunch at a whopping 2 and a half pounds! Extra Small dogs can be quite the challenge to groom, but always turn out so cute!😊❤️

Chloe is one of my little furbabies who has a Collapsing Trachea condition. Though this can be sever, in most cases it is very managable. Signs of CT include difficulty breathing, a honk like cough, intolerance of intense physical exercise, and a blueish tint to the gums from lack of oxygen flow. CT is typically non-fatal unless it is an extreme case.

Remember when brushing your dog, especially with any Poodles, doodles, etc., check behind the ears, between the toes, and base of the tail! The best brush is actually just a metal comb. Brushes a lot of times do not get down to the skin and can actually promote matts to cling together. Samson did great with just his second grooming.

I know some people disagree with getting there pups groomed while they are in heat, but it is actually a good thing! It keeps them nice and clean through the cycle and can prevent matting of the coat if you use, what I like to call, "bi***es" britches.

I never normally recommend shaving a double coated dog but in Kinslers case it is the best option. He has quite a few medical conditions and his coat always gets so matted. We shave for his comfort.😊

Bacon boy is another one of my little old men. He is a bit anxious with the groom but still does a great job! With my older pups I always choose comfort over vanity.❤️

I am extremely impressed with myself on the last groom (Nova). I groomed him outside in a one thousand mile per hour wind storm and he looks pretty great!😄
