On October 18th, 2019, Bagel the Beagle was helped to the rainbow bridge after fighting metastasized melanoma. He was lovingly cremated, and he occupies a place of honor in my home. He was my Boop-Boop, my best friend, my sweet, sweeter, sweetest, sweetheart Bagel the Beagle. Thank you all for allowing me to share this little guy's life with you.

Bagel is about 17 years old. Although he is still quite healthy, I have felt some swollen lymph nodes along his left side. Heading to the vet soon. Will keep all posted. If it is something serious, I will choose to keep him comfortable, and let nature take its course. I won't put him through treatment that will not add to the quality of his life.

I do this all the time! The trick is finding loose blankets or space between the couch cushions! Underneath Ethan's bed is an excellent place to hide things too! I've even taught JuJu, my new little brother how to do this! :-)
