The ponies were so good dressaging today, despite the blustery conditions! 🌪
Billy had a win and second place and Locky won the PYO and was second to himself in the same section!!!! 😍🥂

Locky is trying something new to get fit for Badminton! Just a splash on Tuesday, but back on Friday for more! 🏊‍♂️

We are close to finishing our new tack room and thought I’d share the pictures with you all as I’m just thrilled 😍

The new saddle racks and bridle racks are handmade by dad as we were not able to find anything on the market we wanted.

We are offering a bespoke service if you too would like similar saddle/bridle racks in your tack room...please pm any requests (price will be dependent on what you would like)
For price range idea- the bridle rack would be around £950

What a legend...Straight through the water, straight over the ditch, straight over the trakehner- without even blinking. Although a little over exuberant when other horses arrived, she settled down. A little clip of Billy 😍😇

The boys did good! 🎉🍾Locky qualified for Badminton 2019 today 😁 Finishing 2nd in the regional final at Bricky. Schmaul was also 5th in his section. Both clear inside the time XC round a challenging track in the pouring rain ☔️ . Great XC courses today.
Sad to have missed our local Wiltshire Show at West Wilts but was worth it for our results today!! Pictures of our wonderful prizes from Bricky and of the boys from sunnier days this year. Thanks to organisers and sponsors Washingpool Farm Bricky Horse Trials

Wow!!! With only a handful of HOYS qual outings, Knickers has only gone and won the HOYS Le Mieux La Liga Standings...as he did last year with his real mummy!!

Something a bit different, eventers challenge at Blenheim Palace today. Unfortunately an unlucky weekend for us. But so pleased with how my horsey jumped. Super clear, including the joker fence, but a really unlucky slip past the skinny at 15, meaning a circle and penalties when he was well on target for the win! He only got 1.6 time faults even with this (so would have been easily inside the time!) Unlucky, but you can’t win ‘em all! 😜

Knickers and Blobby were awesome today! I haven’t been to Bucks County for years...in fact I haven’t been showing properly for years until this year.

Today I saw so many familiar faces, it was as if a day hadn’t passed since a little pink pony called Dobbie was putting a smile on my face similar to the one I had today with these super duper Cobbies!!

Such an enjoyable day with Team Phillips, shopping, learning about tortoise (!!) and showing. The boys really didn’t disappoint with Knickers winning his RIHS 2019 coloured qualifier, going coloured champion and supreme coloured champion....He then went on to win the HOYS lightweights and stand Cob Champion....speechless!!! Blobby looked outstanding, and went beautifully for me, still learning the job with a smile on his face for 2nd! Thank You everyone involved ###x

🥂Then Monday came...the rain held off. 🍾Team Phillips this time headed off to Edenbridge and Oxted Show. Wow, what a day we had!! Blobby started the day by going beautifully in the Maxi Cobs to win!
Knickers then put his best foot forward to win the HOYS lightweights, he could not have gone better for me, picking up his HOYS ticket!!
Notty looked outstanding and won the heavyweights too 😲
I chose Knickers to ride in the Championship and someone kindly rode Notty...the boys were fabby; with Knickers standing Champion and Notty reserve!!
This also meant I got a spin in the Supreme in the main ring, with the big boys in my evening gear which was really cool 😎

I had a pretty cool bank holiday weekend! Schmaul kicked things off, giving me a super ride around Treborough BE for 8th place 😍 He did a lovely test, an unlucky pole showjumping and super easy clear XC (he is like nothing else to ride XC- amazing!) I am truly disappointed to not have been selected to be part of the All Star Academy again this year. Our third time of trying and our third time of disappointment (along with all the humiliation I caused myself in an attempt to be chosen!!) I am saddened to not have even received a generic email from Horse & Country TV to thank everyone for their auditions as I’m sure lots of people have put lots of time into it! Congratulations must go out to the lucky 8 who’s feet (I imagine) are yet to touch the ground!

MASSIVE THANK YOU: to everyone who supported my needy cause and I hope you can all bare to continue to support me through this page on our journey in the Equestrian world as a slightly mad, hardworking amateur with dreams to achieve!

As we all know far too well with horses, it is a tough game where disappointment outweighs success and I guess this is just another of those moments. I suppose I’ve had a lot of success this year which I am truly grateful for and must thank everyone responsible for it!! Disappointment hasn’t stopped me before and it won’t stop me now!

However on a positive I can reveal that I was VERY lucky to be on the front cover of Showing World magazine for this month, in an issue which covers the likes of the Hickstead Derby and the RIHS 😍 I really couldn’t believe it and to be in the editors comments was a real highlight for me!! As an amateur rider to have that sort of opportunity is amazing.

So Thank You all and here’s to the next ride!

Absolute sort 😍

Locky did a 29 dressage double clear at Firle Place International today.

He finished just out of qualifying for Badminton in 6th. 20% of starters normally qualify, but today only 19.2% did....he was the 0.8% unfortunately! Shame, but super pleased and isn’t he just a dreamboat 💕

Gorgeous Knickers picked up the top spot in a strong amateur cob class today and then was 3rd in the HOYS class at Wales and West. I think all the team were pleased to have nice dry knickers’ at the end of the day today!! Both pony and pants!! 😂 Lovely day with Team Phillips. Notty stayed at home with his sunglasses and marker pen at the ready after his magazine appearances!! (Blobby standing by as body guard) 😜-in my imagination anyway!
