Dogzies is a Day-school, Overnight and Training facility which accepts clients that are ready and willing to work hand-in-hand with Wayne while participating in their dog(s) up-bringing from puppyhood to adulthood, behavior training and/or moderate to severe rehabilitation.

As the year wraps up, please note that our day school, group training, and overnight stays are limited through to the first week of January 2025. Be sure to check your email or online booking system for important updates and availability.

For dogs attending our programs during the holidays, we’ll be sharing photos through our private platform , as we have done throughout the year as we do not spend everyday day posting or being on social media. On George’s first road trip to the United States 🇺🇸, customs officers and people we met on both sides of the border were amazed at how well he behaved. While humans aren’t always consistent, George’s steady, structured, and disciplined life has made him a better dog 🐕. Reflecting on his journey—from being surrendered to me nearly four years ago with health and serious behavioral issues to overcoming many of those challenges—fills me with pride. Without the support of my team he would not be where he is today. It’s not the dog that fails the owner, but the owner who fails the dog.

**Update**

Happy August! We hope everyone is making the most of the final month of summer holidays and staying cool during this exceptionally dry and fire-prone season. July was fantastic for us, and we’re excited to share more updates about our product line on social media as we take our company in an exciting new direction for the rest of the year.

We’re officially offering limited day school on select days and private training on the remaining days, exclusively for those in our group behavior classes and day school program. If you’ve noticed, we’ve been trialing this all year, and the results have been promising. We believe these changes will bring amazing benefits to all who love our services.

As a family-run business, we’re dedicated to going the extra mile. We ensure the dogs in our care stay busy and active all day , and they’re thriving as a result. Consistent training always leads to positive outcomes, making the most of everyone’s time.

End of July Update .

The past few weeks at Dogzies have been incredibly busy with our DaySchool, Classes, and Home Away from Home (Boarding). So many new dogs will be signed up for our ‘Reliable Off Leash DaySchool Program ‘ in August thanks to their owners commitment in classes .

We’re much more than just a one-walk-a-day service; our dogs enjoy enriching, full days. They get essential brain breaks and off leash hiking. It’s been fantastic to see so many clients utilizing our services during this non-stop heat wave.

Everyone has their own perspective, so advocate for your dog and provide clear guidance on what’s expected. Dogs, like people, can make mistakes, but addressing issues like jumping on tables or excessive barking is crucial. Behaviors are learned, so it’s important to apply expert advice yourself. Focus on exercise, health , education, affection, and discipline to become the expert on your dog.

Our July/August schedule is now set!

The past two weeks at Dogzies have been incredibly busy with our DaySchool and Classes on the days we are open . As a reminder, we conduct smaller pack walks throughout the day when we aren’t hiking in the mountains. We’re far more than just a 45-minute, one-walk-a-day service; our dogs enjoy full, enriching days. They get essential brain breaks while other groups are out hiking, and they go on multiple hikes led by different team members. It’s been fantastic to see so many clients attending our weekend classes.

Most importantly, I want to express my deep appreciation for my Dogzies team, who have been expertly navigating the ship by my side. True wealth comes from within.

**June Update**

The past two weeks at Dogzies have been incredibly busy on the days we are open. On our full days, we conduct smaller pack walks throughout the day. We’re not just a 45-minute dog walking or training company; our dogs enjoy full, enriching days, getting important brain breaks while other groups are out hiking, and they get multiple hikes in as well, led by multiple team members. It’s also been fantastic to see so many clients attending our weekend classes.

Most importantly, I want to express my deep appreciation for my Dogzies team, who have been expertly navigating the ship while I watch from the sidelines for the next few weeks. True wealth comes from within, not from egos, and I’m immensely proud of everyone for stepping up. This wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated staff, whose commitment goes far beyond just enjoying nice weather and petting dogs. Thanks to our very low staff turnover, they can confidently and efficiently run the ship as the dogs/clients are very familiar with the team.
