A lot of things have been going on since the tree fell on my house. I have 4 cats, indoors, As I was getting ready for an art show in May I saw a kitten in my dinky metal shed when I opened the door to get something. I closed the door and said I can,t deal with this right now. Well on May 14th the tree fell on my house and destroyed my roof and I wasn’t able to live there. Well since that time as the house is being repaired kittens have been coming in my back yard and I’ve been feeding them. I’ve been buying food for them and for the adult cats. I’ve been to Animal Services which I thought was the Humane Society. They have given me food on 2 occasions. They know the situation that I’m trying to help these creatures. I went there today asking about a part time job opportunity I was told about the last time I was there and get some cat food. The job isn’t listed and now you have to go online to make an appointment to get pet food only one time a month. Whereas before they just gave it to me when I came in no questions asked. This is disappointing. I only have my social security and I’m not working part time. I want to start an ongoing little fundraiser. CAN YOU SPARE .88 cents
This is going to sound dumb but sparing .88 cent from each person can help me feed these kittens and mama cats. I don’t want anymore then .88 cents from each individual who is willing to give. The .88 cent will buy one can of Fancy Feast kitten food Pate. .74 cents will buy Frisky’s Pate for adult cat. I would like it this way because it’s not for me and who knows if it can even happen this way , but I will continue to feed the kittens and cats until this is resolved. This a little kitten I found outside of a store I work at at 6am. I called Sparkle Cat Rescue which told me to take this little baby to a lady in Greensboro nc that feeds and takes care of babies like this until they are ready to be adopted.
