Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for all those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The people of the United States of America hold their troops in high honor. Men, women and K9s have fought and died for this country since we declared our independence, taking pride in a country we know is worth fighting for. In the last decade, they have been put in harms way for lengths of time and danger unparalleled in any other war. Today is a day to remember those who fought and died for this country, from World War I to today's current affairs. Their service is the ultimate protection of our freedoms.

Yes, Luxe has been waiting 970 days.
Luxe is a sweet beefcake of a boy around 3 years old. He is Strong but extremely loving. He knows his obedience and loves to play with his ball and hang out in his fenced yard. He is a loner and doesn't need much. He's been described as the perfect single dudes companion! But he really is He is the best friend that anyone could have! Luxe loves the water , loves car rides, once he knows his environment he is just a happy lazy boy. He's gone to various workshops with his trainer and is always told he is the most well behaved. He is treadmill trained and works on his obedience training constantly. :) Luxe does great on car rides- never barks and is always calm. He bonds easily with people and is a snuggly boy.

Luxe will bring a lot of laughter and joy to his new family. There's no reason this boy should have to live in a boarding facility his whole life. He is ready for the family he deserves! And his boarding facility, "The Doggie Inn" will offer A LIFETIME OF FREE in-home private training sessions to help him acclimate perfectly after he's adopted.

**COURTESY POST**Hi there! I’m Runt Man and I am looking for a “furever” home. I am neutered and up-to-date on all of my vetting. Everyone says that I’m quite the catch being just 4 years old, around 50 lbs. and with my beautiful Terrier good looks! Who am I to argue? I am an energetic guy who would really benefit from being a member of an active family. I love to play, go for walks, and explore the world. Don’t get me wrong, I do love to cuddle and get very attached to my people. I just like to go on adventures too! I’m versatile! I also enjoy learning new things and will do anything for a treat. And I love kids too! I do have something called a “high prey drive”. This means that I would do best in a home without kitties or other small animals that I could chase. And other dogs? Well, I’m kind of picky and really don’t want to share my humans with anyone else. So, I it would be best if I were the only dog in my new home.

I know that’s a lot to ask, but I hope there is a family out there who will look past that and give me a chance. I promise to make a wonderful companion and return your love ten-fold!
