Meant to post this a few weeks back. I've been getting pretty creaky and my left hip can be painful, so dad made me some better steps so I can get on to the bed. We had some before but they were too small, made for Bailey back in the day. These ones are wider and deep, much better for my stride. Of course I still sometimes jump over them, if I'm excited, but I'm less and less inclined to do that! I love my steps 🥰

Well, at 12 I have my health issues (who doesn't??) but I can still have a blast on the sand. Dad took me to Rodeo beach and we had a hike and played stick fetch (I fetched it, not him). Yep I've still got it! I strutted my stuff 😁

Well, I've hit the big 1 - 2 ! Yep, twelve years old today, and still bugging mum & dad to play games late at night 😆 They do spoil me so, though! Just look at all my goodies.... mmmm mmm!

Lottie dog squirming on the grass in our yard. It looked like she was enjoying it so much, I almost wanted to join her!

We adopted Lottie (previously named Shallot) at age 4, from the wonderful folks at Herd It Through The Grapevine (http://hittgv.org). She’s an Australian Cattle Dog, also called a Blue (or Red) Heeler. She’s a little more stout than most of her breed, with slightly shorter, thicker legs. Lottie is an absolute delight; so smart and affectionate. She’s a great car dog, and has been on several long road trips. She’s discovered how much she likes to play ball - she can’t get enough of it!
