Enjoyed the Wings ladies group from who came out to learn about the horses and what we do at the Ranch. They were very interested and had lots of great questions. A few even participated in the activities. They learned how horses reflect our emotions and help us learn about ourselves. The horses loved all the petting / brushing/ and attention too.
Always love having people / groups come out to the Ranch.

Our horses eat approx 80,000 lbs of hay/ year.
Farrier services are over $2500/ year
Any gift would help off set the cost, no gift is too small.

While the teens and leaders came to serve and bless us, they also learned a little bit about horses and did a couple activities with them. Day one we did an obstacle course with 2 minis. The one leading the mini was blindfolded and the other was giving out directions from the other side of the barn. We did it a 2nd time with another group of 4 but the person giving directions could walk close to them. Also while they were doing it, I was a “competing” voice giving different directions.
Then we debriefed the differences. We talked about how if we’re far from God’s voice it’s harder to hear. We also talked about competing voices (maybe even from friends) that will you us in wrong directions

The second day was bringing 3 horses down to demonstrate their personality differences and had them
Observe the horses and describe what they thought. Then we let them pet them and feed a few apples

Who wants to jump rope with us?

Horses heading to barn to meet a couple kids and their parents. Great session on leaning about how magnificent horses are and how they cooperate with us.

Chain saw? We don’t need no stinkin chain saw!! Prepping the area for our outdoor arena. Hoping to have done by 10/15. The kids we serve will love to ride in this big arena
