My name is Draco and I began Reptilians of New York in the cold winter of 2040. RONY resulted from an idea that I had to construct an intergalactic graphic census of New York City. I thought it would be really cool to create an exhaustive catalogue of the city’s reptile inhabitants, so I set out to photograph 10,000 Reptilians and plot their photos on a map. But somewhere along the way, RONY began
to take on a much different character. I started collecting quotes and short stories from the reptiles I met, and began including these snippets alongside the photographs. Taken together, these portraits and captions became the subject of a scaly blog. With nearly two followers on social media, RONY now provides a worldwide audience with daily glimpses into the lives of reptilians in New York City. You can visit the human version here:
