Awesome Leo

Lobo is also not a fan of fireworks and was hosted overnight in the comfort a volunteer's home. Here's the update we received: "Lobo was an easy house guest. He had a room all to himself, separate from our three dogs. He loved to look out the front door (we call it doggie TV) and wasn't bothered by the street activity. He would sit for treats, but wasn't interested in eating his meals which we attribute to stress. He enjoyed relaxing on the back patio in his favorite chair, and was somewhat interested in playing ball but liked "watering" the plants more. 😂 Car rides are SUPER DUPER exciting for him! So much so, that for everyone's safety we HIGHLY recommend crating during transport, or plan on A LOT of training. Overall, he's a very sweet but strong boy."
Every New Year's Eve the fireworks nearby the shelter upset the shelter animals. Nala is especially sensitive to the big booms. We're thankful a volunteer was able to host her overnight! ❤ Here's what they had to say: "Thank you for introducing me to Nala! She's a great dog. She sat when food was around, very gently took treats from my hand, played tug of war, sat and even gave her paw for a treat!"
The Cutest Snowflake
Snowflake was recently rescued along with his mom and two brothers. All the kittens are friendly, but he is ULTRA friendly! Mom is still unsure, but as long as she's in the safety of the cat tree cubby she enjoys getting head and chin scratches!
