Seed and spray millet update

I appreciate all of your support and will continue to cherish the ongoing relationships that I have with you all.
Moving forward I have decided to only supply our quality Wisconsin Spray Millet in all 3 sizes; 1lb, 3lb and 5lb. And to continue to fulfill my customers orders for 50 # bags.

I know this may be a bit of a disruption and disappointment to some but with all my ventures expanding and keeping me so busy I had to cut a corner somewhere.

For all of you that buy the small 4 # bags of seed for your loved birds, no need to worry. Robyn’s Aviary will be carrying and supplying the same quality mix as you have come to expect from The Millet Man . I really hope you support her in the expansion of her business as you did with me. She is a honest and trustworthy person that I highly recommend to anyone.

With seed prices increasing every month, I want to let everyone know what my plan is.
Here it is.
** "No one should have to re-home their beloved bird because the price of food is too high. Our birds don't deserve that." **
So as of now all of the seed mixes and spray millet that The Millet Man provides will have a price freeze.

3 # $17
1$ $7
Seed mixes are $8 per 4 # bag except canary, which one s $9
If you buy 50 # bags from me , they are $65 ea.

This is a shocker even for me everyone. I received a new updated price list from the mill this morning. The increases are a definite surprise.

I know want to share with you that there is a price increase on the small bags and a smidge on the small quantity spray millet. With that being said, I have decided to stop offering the large 50 # bags and only offer the more affordable small bags

I will be looking into some alternative sizes but for now this will have to stand.

This is the result from bringing 75 # of spray millet today to the Madison Bird Fair . With supply being limited the spray millet sold out within an hour. Thanks everyone. I was offering it as a limit of (1) 5 # box per customer. That is fair but I was asked "why can't I buy 5 boxes, no matter what you're still selling it". If I would have done that, then 4 customers wouldn't have been able to purchase.

Update:
straight to the point, with the consistent and unpredictable price increases and increased lead times on orders I can no longer offer any "bulk", "quantity" or "special orders" along with no shipping of products.. From here forward I will only offer small "pet" size (4 #) packaging and of course our normal size Spray Millet sizes at the Rolling Meadows, Madison and club fairs that I attend. As always thank you for supporting locally sourced and custom mixed seed and spray millet!!
