We knew we had to help! We brought him in, gave him some food and water, and he settled right in. We're so happy to announce that we've officially adopted him! I’m sorry 😞

I hate to break the bad news, but Sam passed away naturally at 18 years old two days ago. He went downhill quickly (less than 10 hours) due to a pericardial effusion. He was just playing with his ball two days before. We stopped at the dog park on the way to the vet for one last cheeseburger. He wouldn’t eat it. When I looked into his eyes, I knew I couldn’t give up on him if there was something I could’ve done for him.

I opted to not put him down but to drain the effusion to buy us a couple of days to do some testing. No sooner was I signing the credit card payment, when the ER vet came running out and told me he was passing (they completed the procedure, which is supposed to feel relieving, but his body couldn’t handle it).

I think the way he went was perfect. He didn’t have much suffering and he fought til the very end. I did, however, opt for DNR because why resuscitate him for it to happen all over again? I feel like we both got the closure we needed. I’ll miss him very much but I’m so glad we both went out fighting and loving each other.

Phoenix was left with horrible injuries after someone set her on fire 😢🤬 But now, she's "rising from the ashes" and making a recovery thanks to a rescue.

I have a story to tell, I live in Japan, my cat was run over in front of the house, she escaped from the chain as we were walking her as usual, I took her to a vet close to home, and after 5 hours they called saying that she she died, to this day I still don't believe she died out of nowhere, I went there and there was a scene and the doctor was shaking a lot, he messed up my cat

WOW!!! 🦁🥰

Recycled cardboard boxes, paper bags, wood, and glue.
Devotion ~ This sculpture of a loving pair of life-sized lions was created entirely out of cardboard with the exception of a bit of wood in the base for stability.
Like many of you, we accumulate tons of boxes from shipments of online purchases. It turns out that cardboard is a lovely medium to work with. The forms are all made from cut boxes and the surface is covered with torn bits of paper bags. This sculpture was created without making paper pulp. It's all just cardboard assembled using hot glue and Elmer's glue, yet it's actually quite sturdy. It was built from the inside out starting with basic skull forms made from cardboard and layering on the musculature and then the fur.

She’s amazing girl

My daughter has a huge heart for dogs and begged for months to get another rescue. She even use all her money to pitch in for thr fees. Here she is with third rescue pupper, Daisy. ❤️

Today I saw it with my own eyes.
I asked people around and they said he comes there every day and lies down for a few hours.
Then he goes somewhere and comes again the next day!
It's long past time to understand that there are things in life much more important than money, power, and career. There is something in the world called true, selfless Love!
