Better Off Fed Better Off Fed is a local rescue group in NC who focuses on shelter pets who are running out of time! Please click "About" to find out more!

Better off Fed Rescue was founded 6/25/2013 with the goal of giving animals a better chance at adoption. We are in central North Carolina focusing on shelter kittens (and sometimes moms) that have run out of time. Many of those we have helped have been pulled from Harnett County shelter on their last day of availability. If you are not able to adopt please spread the word, share, and like pics !!

Mika is looking for a home! This big boy was surrendered to us when he was diagnosed with diabetes last Fall, but he is now in remission and no longer needs insulin. He is sweet boy looking for a cat-free family. Come by and meet him or give us a call if you’re interested at 919-929-3352!

Earlier this year, our hospital manager caught a feral cat who kept getting pregnant near her house. A lot of her offspring have been adopted, but we still have some kitties who are looking for their forever homes! We will be posting more throughout the week about each of these precious babies - stay on the lookout!
