Jimmy: The Journey/ Slim Jim's Story Jimmy is a 6 month old pup who needs his front leg amputated. This is his journey from abandonment to a happy tri-pawed life! On 1-15-15 Jimmy was hit by a car.

His rescuer brought him to a vet on 1-16-15. After examination if was found that Jimmy suffered from radial nerve damage. His front right leg would need to be removed at the shoulder. His rescuer was unable to pay his medical bills and surrendered Jimmy to the care of Home FurEver rescue. As Jimmy's foster, I have been amazed and in awe of Jimmy's will and strength. I am nervous about what the fut

ure brings for this little guy, but am ready to help him on his journey to a new life. I hope you find as much inspiration in in his spirit and love as I do. Join us as we take this trip together.

Jimmy has been adopted and lives with a wonderful family! Sadly, there is a "new Jim" in town. Slim Jim was taken in by Home Furever Rescue on 11-24-15. He reminds me so much of Jimmy in looks and in situation. Please, continue to follow Jimmy: The Journey as Slim Jim's Story unfolds.
