Our first show is in the books, and it was a success!
We are so proud of all of our riders and horses, thanks you all for your hard work and for making it such a fun weekend!
A big thank you also to Ringside Productions and MAHA for putting on a great show as always.
We are looking forward to the rest of the show season and beyond! The future is looking bright!

Meet Belen PR or “Belen” “Lenny B” “Ba-ling-a-ling” or “B Dubbs”

Before becoming one of our most coveted lesson horses, Belen had a very expansive show career excelling in Country Pleasure, English Show Hack, and Equitation with both amateur and junior riders! Now at 25 years old, he is definitely the favorite for academy show riders!

1. Although he walks like a 🦥 coming in from the pasture, he is a 🦘 in the arena!

2. We are pretty sure he adds new freckles every day! 😂

3. He is a total ladies man, and lives a life of luxury with all the mares! 💃

Meet My Starina BFV or as we call her Lola 💃

Lola had a short show career in Equitation and Country Pleasure before we figured out that she is much happier as a lesson horse!
She now excels at one of our intermediate lesson horses, and helps teach our students how important body position truly is while riding! She is a favorite among our show team when it comes to lesson horse days! 

🥕 FIVE FUN FACTS ABOUT LOLA🥕

1. She has one of the smoothest canters and could canter all day if you would let her! 🐎

2. She resembles the chicken from the movie Chicken Little as sometimes she thinks the sky is falling 🤣

3. She likes to lick EVERYTHING 👅

4. She is not a fan of cross ties or stalls…she’s a free soul 🧚🏻‍♀️

5. She is a whimp when it comes to the cold 🥶

Meet Manhattans Crowned Prince a.k.a “Manny!”
Manny is one of our semi-beginner/intermediate lesson horses and is a barn favorite!

Manny had a rough start to life, but in 2011 he was rescued by the Skinner family and his life changed forever! He and his human sister Bailey Skinner competed in local shows for years in Western, English, and even some jumping!

Today Manny gives a wide variety of lessons including ones to those with special needs! ❤️🦄

🥕Five Fun Facts About Manny🥕

1. His first jumping experience at a show was a total surprise to Bailey‘s mom, Lesley! Lesley was announcing the show and announced Bailey and Manny to be the next competitor to jump! He cleared the polls with flying colors! 😂

2. He was featured in a TikTok by a local, viral, TikToker!

3. Manny was ridden for an audition tape for a girl auditioning for Yellowstone! 🐎

4. He was in a Kentucky derby advertising commercial!

5. He was also in a Nixall commercial!

✨LESSON HORSE OF THE WEEK✨

🦄 Aria MTA +/

Aria (sometimes called Tiaria 👑) is an Arabian and at 23 years old she is one of our beginner horses that most new young riders start out on! She is fantastic with our 4 and 5 year olds and truly is a unicorn!

🏆 Before becoming a staple in our lesson program, she had a very successful show career! She has shown in Purebred Arabian Country, Showmanship, Show Hack, Side Saddle, and Equitation. She has multiple National Champion and Reserve National Champion titles to her name. What makes her titles extremely special is that they were all made with youth riders and mostly in the equitation division!

🖐🏼 Five Fun Facts about Aria 👸🏻

1. In every victory pass she took, you can see her give off a smile in each picture! (Look below 👇)

2. She began her job as a beginner lesson horse after our beloved Roxanne passed away. She took to her new job like she had been doing it her whole life!

3. Her nick name is Tiaria because she has always acted like a princess! 👸🏻

4. Patterns were her specialty! She was amazing at helping young equitation riders navigate patterns! You would ride the pattern once with her, and it was almost as if she knew it by heart and could do it herself!

5. She was a first show horse for many young riders who have gone on to have very successful youth and adult riding careers! ❤️

🥳Happy 6th Birthday Eloise🎂

We love when our lesson kids celebrate their birthday on their lesson day!
Miss Eloise turned 6 yesterday and chose to ride our lesson horse of the week, Cowboy, for her birthday ride! Not only was it her birthday, but this was also her first time trotting around the arena on her own! Didn’t she do great?! 👏

Meet AM Shouldabeenacowboy or “Cowboy”!

Cowboy spent his professional career in the Hunt Seat and Sport Horse divisions.
In 2008 as a 5 year old, he was named 🏆National Champion Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle Jr. Horse!!
Cowboy also has National Champion and Reserve National Championship titles with Youth riders in both the Arabian Working Hunter and the Hunt Seat Equitation divisions!

Now at 21 years old, Cowboy is one of are most loved beginner horses and has definitely earned the coveted title of “unicorn!”🦄

3. His best friend is Elijah 🐴
