Happy National Dog Day! Sorry we have been MIA for a few days. Its been a bit hectic. Roro now has a cold. They did xrays etc and no sign of pneumonia. Lungs are clear. She has a runny nose and is already on antibiotics. But either the cold or antibiotics or both are casuing her to not want to eat much. Which is difficult when she is diabetic. I have been in constant contact with her dr. She is comfortable and not in any distress. I am freaking out and stressed and anxious. One day at a time. We will be off for a few days while I nurse her back to health. Pray she will get her appetite back. But so blessed to have these two in my life. Wouldn’t trade them for the world. #rockyandroro
Oh Rocky! No cushion is safe in this house. He claims all of them. He will wait for you to get up and 10 seconds later he has made himself a nice little bed. Because of course the 6 beds we have all over the house are just not enough. 🤣❤️#rockyandroro #rocky

RoRo went for her Eye Exam today at @eyecareforanimals They are always so kind and loving. Her eye pressure is good and unfortunately she has cataracts in her only eye caused by diabetes which happens within a year. She can see movement, light and shadows but site is limited. They can’t predict whether she will continue to lose her sight or if this will just stay the way it is now. Roro has mapped out the house and gets around. I will be looking into a Halo for her so if anyone has suggestions please DM us. Other than that she is doing great and Rocky always goes for moral support and of course extra loving from the staff. Every two weeks ( sometimes sooner if the patch stops working ) RoRo has to get a new Libre Patch fr her diabetes . She is so brave and strong. Never flinches. Thank you for all the get well wishes and prayers for my dear RoRo. She is bouncing back and doing well. A couple of sleepness nights but with an amazing medical team behind her and family helping me she has pulled through whatever caused her to feel unwell on her birthday. We will take this beautiful day. Eveyday is a gift. We thank you for all the love and prayers and get well wishes. So grateful for each and everyone of you who love my babies. We have had a busy Monday. Early walkies around the neighborhood , yummy papas and then meds and insulin and Rocky had his spa day so we dropped him off and then RoRo had to have her Libre Patch replaced (this is done every two weeks) across town and then back to pick up Rocky.
