My, it has been a busy 8 days since my last post. I have been to school, restaurants, Dr. offices, church AND the Bass Pro Shop! Here is a photo dump from the Pro Shop…

Well, I guess I have made it. To what you may ask, I am going with foster dad almost everyday now, to school, restaurants, church and stores. AND I only get 2 meals a day now instead of 3. Growing up is hard to do! (I think they should make a song titled that!) Anyway, here are my birthday pictures.

Boy, I knew Leah was gone a lot, and now that she is gone off to doggie college, its my turn. All day at school yesterday, store and a restaurant today, and yes, I did my unders like champ, I hear that tomorrow I'm going to krogers and something called church, then Saturday is my final obedience class. I'm ready for the weekend!

Halen here: I was able to spend yesterday with Leah when she began her trip to final training. She did well, nervous, but ready. While I miss her already, she said this was my page now. I have class this morning and that will keep me occupied and maybe I won't miss her so much!

Leah here: I'm hearing that today is my last day here at the Northern Ohio Training site and spa. I still need a bath and a collar change. It has been a GREAT ride so far. Where ever I go, either as a breeder or continuing my training as a service dog, I know I have had a good beginning! I would like to thank all of you who have followed me throughout the past year and half. With your support and encouragement, I have done my best. Once again, a big THANK YOU to all of you. Please continue your support for Halen as she continues to follow in my, and others, pawpath!

Leah here: I know I am working on my last week here at the Northern Ohio Training Site & Spa! I was at school last week, maybe for the last time, so I thought it was proper to pay homage to his alum mascot, Roscoe!

Halen here: Well it is official, I'm a working girl! Come on guys, get your minds out of the gutter, I'm working at the schools now! Here is my official ID. I got to go today for half a day. Not sure what Leah says, but for the most part, it is boring. But we did have an evacuation drill, left the building, walked 6 blocks to the fairgrounds, then back. I'm bushed!

Happy Sunday everyone! Leah here! I am on my final few weeks here at the Northern Ohio Training site and spa! I had the pleasure of joining foster dad at school this week and even though I can't figure out how to add the video here, I did get to do the weather for the FRTV program. It's the in-school news program! Not that I'm bragging, but I was a star! I'm also watching Halen begin her classes. She is doing very well for a pup of her age! More later!

Halen here: Been busy this week. An afternoon at school, no accidents! Today was my first official class and to be honest, it was boring! I did do some walking and was great, but not much else. I do have to say, it sure beats staying home in the kennel!

Hi there, Halen here. I had my 4 month birthday on the 18th! Look how much I changed! AND, BIG news, I get to go to school with Foster dad tomorrow. Only a few hours, but school with him by myself!

Halen here: I'm free, well almost. Had my 3rd vet appointment this morning and only have 1 more to go. I now weigh 28.8 pounds! The vet said I could start going out in public, so we stopped at a CVS on the way home. Foster dad said I did very well walking on the left side and sitting straight. He is so smart, I knew it was 'hurry' time soon, and he scooped me up and carried me outside to hurry. No accidents!

Leah here: I am the adult here so I get to post before or instead of the kid, Halen! We spent Saturday afternoon at the public library. I got to work on my 'do nothing' command with foster mom while Halen had to work, and I mean work! She had to walk like an adult, sit, down and stay. Here are some pictures!

Halen here, no major changes happening. I had my 2nd vet visit, then Lean and I went to Tiffin to support Canine Companions.

My turn! Halen here this time. I, on the other hand, have had an exciting time here at the Northern Ohio Training site and Spa!. Been working on my sits, downs, and waits. Trying to sleep the night without getting up (I’m only getting up 1 time). Today is my 3 month birthday, see my picture. I hear we have an outing this week, so I Have to bone up on being good!
