Fancy 367 Survivor In August 2013 Fancy was rescued in the second largest dog fighting raid in US history. From life on a chain to a loved family member. This is her story.

She is a senior aged American Pit Bull Terrier that endured one of the cruelest forms of abuse for over a decade before her rescue. She has significant scarring on her face and front legs along with other signs consistent with a life a dog fighting and breeding. In addition to her physical scars, she has quite a few medical issues that have been addressed. She has babesia, heartworm disease, facia

l nerve paralysis, mammary masses, cataracts, arthritis and also had her spleen removed due to mass that was found to be benign. Despite her difficult past, Fancy's story is one of survival, forgiveness, and trust. She has found her forever home and will know nothing but love and kindness for the rest of her life. She shares a home with two senior dogs that she gets along with remarkably and has quickly adjusted to the life that she has always deserved to live. Fancy will be forever grateful to the Humane Society of the United States, all of the HSUS animal rescue volunteers that took care of her for so many months, and Hello Bully for bringing her to Pittsburgh and providing the medical care that she needed during her first few months in foster care.
