No, she is a purebred, although I think there's a little Wackadoodle mixed in there somewhere.....

Had a fantastic day in the field this morning, With Mike Thompson and Denny, finally got some moisture on the ground a nice cool breeze scenting was perfect and Arya was on her best game. She blew a couple good ones by not holding point when the bird flushed but we flushed quite a few birds today and her pointing was Rock solid.

Another BIRTHDAY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY "B" Litter babies. ENZO, RHYNO, & our sweet LUPIA who I believe is on the other side of the bridge celebrating with her mama this morning. This is one of my favorite pictures from their first birthday mother Dolcezza, father Larry, Enzo (lil skittles) and Lupia. Rhyno lives in Canada so she wasn't able to be there.

So we spent two gorgeous days in rimersburg running Arya in her first AKC senior hunt test with a bunch of our friends from Eaglerock Setters, Juniors did great but across the board seniors were struggling with getting ribbons day one Arya failed to hold point on two occasions disqualifying her from the first two tests day two I filmed both of her runs with Mike Thompson handling her. Feel free to enjoy the videos to see how the day turned out.

By the grace of God we were able to spend two perfect days on the river although it's a little low the river is running crystal clear and about 70° its brisk but plenty warm enough to swim in, on an 80° day. Might be our last day of the year to swim so we made the best of it. Of course my girls love the water almost as much as they love hunting.

So yeah long rides in the car Arya gets bored, she likes to chew on stuff and play with toys I learned the hard way not to leave things like ratchet straps or bungee cords in the back. But a full unopened 65 pound bag of Sakrete concrete mix? Certainly she would have no interest in that!

She almost blew this one she should have stayed steady until after the shot but the bird had been flushed two times prior so she wanted it pretty bad.

Watching The Hunt test Sunday from about 250 yards away but the sounds are unmistakable and little girl was paying very close attention.

And this is how the girls get back out we have a three rung swim ladder off the back that both girls do a really good job of climbing up on their own with supervision of course. But this way they don't feel the boat with dirt and sand coming off of shore.

Getting in the water is half the fun

They keep getting better and better at diving of course Khaleesi is a champ, Arya is growing braver and braver.
